    Gabe,

Kudos on your efforts thus far. Thank you for trying to include the membership in your plans and for keeping us updated on the changes.

Don't forget there are already a lot of great ideas for improvement made by members that sent them to the suggestion forum that have never even been acknowledged, let alone implemented.

    Keep up the good work,

    Steve

Like removing sigs. from all paid sub-forums.

If you pay for a thread you shouldn't have to police it daily to keep the sig. droppers off.

Kudos on your efforts thus far.
    I second that emotion!

Things are looking and feeling up waaayyy up since you've come on board Gab.

The energy you bring to the table is refreshing. You seem to be winning a lot of people over with your positive spirit and optimism.

Thanks for what you are trying to do.

    Mark

I'm glad you are going to clean the War Room up.

The reason I stopped my subscription is because it basically became an all out promo-fest.

All of the "great" free products are basically designed to get people to click on affiliate links and sign up to lists.

I would say that it's going to take longer than a month to clean that up.

Another reason I stopped my subscription is because $97 a year is way too much to pay for what was in there.

However, the biggest reason that I didn't stay a member was because I was automatically re-billed without setting up any kind of payment agreement in the beginning and without any notice or anyone asking me if I wanted to stay a member for another year. Honestly, it wasn't even about the $97. It was about the fact that nobody told me I would automatically be re-billed when I signed up.

I also agree with Brent that any paid threads must have all sig links removed.

Whether or not you want to admit it, there are loads of people here who are all about putting up crappy posts just to get their sig link seen.

You need to come up with some way to fix this. Maybe you even consider going the paid subscription route for all members.

Other than that, I applaud your enthusiasm and I'm glad that you are finally going to start listening to suggestions from long time members. It will definitely make the forum a better place and hopefully restore it to it's former glory.

Love it love it love it

I'm seeing the results of the changes being made and it's much more impressive than many here realize as yet.

The 'learn' section is a great place to REFER people who keep asking the basic questions about topics covered there. Of course, to do that we all need to be familiar with the tutorials posted there.

Gab is right - we can't 'go back' but we can go forward and do better. I think we're well on our way to doing that. It is the first time in years that mgmt of the WF has not only listened but has acted.

I fully expect the War Room to be whipped into shape by the end of the month - you won't believe how fast these guys have been working to change things. It's impressive.

First time I've heard either Gab or Marcus. Very easy to understand and good pace on the video. If Marcus needs a new career, I expect Audible would hire him in a minute!

As you guys know, I'm on board and so are most other members here. Those who aren't will be converted - those who are here to game the forum won't last long. The biggest complaint from newbies is "I don't know how" and "I need a step by step" - with 'learn' and the 'podcasts' - that's what they will get.

    You go, guys.

Well done to Gab and Marcus for making that video from "The Warrior Cave". After watching it I now have even more respect for you guys and the scale of the task you've taken on.

I mean, coming in to work and having to face that wallpaper every day... I couldn't do it.
