Organic Growth Hacking... Is Possible??

Would it be a good idea to upload your Lead Magnet to amazon kindle? Provided you have the rights of course.


Example 1: Free Kindle Edition

Amazon Kindle has millions of daily readers. Depending on your niche, the organic traffic reach potential is insane. For me the self-help niche statistics are very promising. Toward the end in the lead magnet. Add a call-to-action leading to your optin page.Simply stating you'll be releasing another ebook really soon, in exchange for there email.


Example 2: Charge .99¢ - $2.54

In the my niche on amazon kindle the highest rated books are 20-25 page reports being sold for a small price. Most of them around the $2.00 mark. With thousands of reviews each! Amazon only takes 30% of each sale. You can reinvest that money back into your business. Using paid advertising strategies and solo ads. One would think, if they bought your book. At the end if you linked to an optin page. Wouldn't they optin for future releases?

I'm going to try this on Tuesday. I will post my results to you guys on this thread. When I obtain a sustainable amount of evidence, either negative or positive.

    How can you sustain a $1.40 profit/sale (your example: 70% earned on a $2 sale) with paid advertising? Assume a 2% conversion rate and a very ambitious $.15/lead cost.

      Sorry there must be a misunderstanding here.. I take full responsibility for it, I sincerely apologize. What I meant to say is like example 1 where we would be taking advantage of massive organic reach via amazon kindle. Instead of giving it away for free. Charge let's say $2.00, use the money you make from your sales. Towards paid advertising or software I did not mean use pay advertising to sell the ebook or report lol..

    I'm going to need to agree with Steve on the option 2. There just doesn't appear to be enough to make it worthwhile. (IMO)

    Option 1 sounds interesting. You would need to do a good job making your lead magnet into something to really help pre-sell.

    Yup, its possible but you have to automate most of the redundant tasks via custom software applications, which may cost both your time and money upfront to a very great extent. Can you handle that? Your business model isn't suited for staggering growth. Its Amazon after all.

    I don't know about the self-help market specifically, but in the niches I do buy Kindle books in, those perma-free and $0.99 reports are generally badly disguised sales letters. They may show thousands of reviews, but the odds of those reviews being reliable are pretty slim.

    Better to price your offering in the same neighborhood as legitimate ebooks ($2.99 - $4.99 in my niches), then use Amazon's tools to offer periods where one can offer the book free or reduced, especially if you can attach a reason why.

    That said, using the Kindle marketplace is a kind of Catch-22. Amazon runs the market to sell books and make money, so they promote the books that make them money. But to get that promotion, you have to have the initial burst of sales, which is rarely fueled organically.

    One of the better legit ways to do this is to set up JV offers with people who cover your book's topic, so they clue their audiences in on this special free offer.

    Does kindle really provide massive organic reach as you say?

    If it was that simple everyone would be doing it and making money.

    I don't know anything about the marketplace, but I have read that most users don't make much or any money.
