A quick overview on how to create a STABLE source of income and generate $ xxxxx a month

Dear aspiring internet marketers,

First of all, let me say this in the simplest way possible...

Making money online is NOT easy, especially when you are starting out.

Capiche?

If you want to make $1000, $10000, or even $1000000 a month, you have to understand that starting a successful online business requires patience, effort, and persistence. You will be required to carry out a continuous process of trial and error. Which should be done through data analysis and feedback loop. All with the purpose of adjusting and refining your products and services until your customers are satisfied.

So how do I do it?

I'm going to suggest a path that I took. You don't have to take the same path, but I really believe this is very achievable as the concept behind this is to work hard now and reap the benefits later. Better than that, anyone can start off, as soon as TODAY!

I like to follow the lean method.

According to lean.org:
the core idea is to maximize customer value while minimizing waste. Simply, lean means creating more value for customers with fewer resources.
The idea is to start small with minimum expenses, then grow and scale your business in the most feasible way. In my case, after choosing a niche that I wanted to dive into, I started off by building a minimum viable audience (MVA). Basically, an MVA is a small but engaging follower base that will help you with the formation and scalability of your business. You see, think of this as a temporary set-up that is on the look to find a scalable business plan.

As Seth Godin said:
"You don't find customers for your products. You find products for your customers.".

Come to think of this phrase, it makes perfect sense. This is because our job as the marketers is to do the market research and see what are the demands of the consumers, which will then enable us to provide solutions for them. So in other words, this is a phase of your market research.

DO NOT skip this step. Imagine spending months creating a product only to find out that no one wants to buy it. Sucks.

So how did I build my MVA? The answer is... I built an email list... and I am still building it!

Essentially, all you have to do is offer something valuable (like ebooks, reports, videos, etc...) for free, in exchange for the visitor's email. Hence, getting you subscribers.

This, in my opinion, is the essential part of your marketing journey. Building my email list has helped me in:

- Creating a unique relationship with most of my subscribers
- Knowing of their struggles and pains
- My interaction with them guided me to create and sell the next profitable product.

Set up your list building business

All you need is a webpage and an email marketing tool that will allow you to create beautiful high converting squeeze pages. A squeeze page is a landing page that is meant to squeeze information out of the visitor such as name, email, etc, converting them into subscribers.

Here's an example of a squeeze page:

It usually consists of:

- An Appealing Headline.
- A Captivating Offer.
- Really Good Picture
- An Awesome Call-to-action button.

That's all I have to say in this short post for now. I really hope that you found value in this. If you like to read more about landing pages and conversion rates, I'd suggest you check out this post I made here: How I was able to get a conversion rate of almost 60%+

P.S. What are your thoughts on this post?

    Nice post,

If you build your MVA you could just ask them what they want they want E.g questions related to your niche. Then you could create they product and give then it for free/discount as a thank you.

Then you could market your product confidently because you know its what people in your niche want.

Which bring me to my question, Do you use paid and/or free traffic?

      Exactly my friend!

As for traffic, when I initially started out, I didn't need to buy any ads. I would suggest you do the same too. Just make sure your landing pages are set up properly and you are good to go. Let me know if you need help!

    Thank you Mr. Sultan,

You have offered up the Standard Operating Procedure for most Internet Marketers (one man bands) to follow. It is the MANTRA, and often Pablam for the masses of wannabees.

It is a TESTED and proven WAY, albeit one which, as you duly noted, takes TIME, persistence and patience.

And although it has worked for so many people, it isn't the only way, not even the best or fastest way, and certainly one size does not fit all.

You have given very sound advice. We get it every week. Same thing:

Give something away to a targeted audience.
    CAPTURE email.
Market the crap out of it. Be relentless in your emails. Although, not all IMers abuse their lists, we can point out examples in our own SPAM folders of things we signed up for and were bombarded with OFFERS.

So, thanks for the weekly reminder. However, there are other ways.

Offering services and products for sale which people want and NEED, and having a family of products wrapped around it.

Every search at Amazon produces a list of things one might be interested in because of what we searched for.

Customers who bought this item also bought.
    Top picks for you.
Sponsored products related to the item.

And no list to sign up for.

So, simply selling products and with all the affiliate items available, and eCom and combined with Social Media, a person is presented with multiple ways to earn money and a lot of it, from their IM efforts, without spending years, or having patience.

Also, a funnel doesn't have to be a list. Customers do NOT have to be hounded, reminded or beat over the head to buy your products and services.

There are eBay dealers who do 6 figures a year, without a list. They are sought out.

There are Etsy sellers who do 5 figures a month selling jewelry, without a list.

There are consultants doing 1k a day, without a list.

So, I do think you have given many newbs some food for thought, it is an opinion, and one shared by most Warriors (because they took 5 years to make it happen your way) and I can't argue with it being the SOP.

But it is not the only way, and in many cases, it does NOT take huge amounts of time, effort or persistence. It does, however, take knowing what you want, having the skills to
execute a plan, and keeping track of results.

Thanks again for your reminder post, very good pic of a landing page, by the way.
