How to make leads through cold traffic?

Most of the time we use education to turn cold traffic into warm traffic.

So teach them how to do something new, or help them achieve some results, solve part of their problem, etc, so they can see that you're a knowledgable and trustworthy person that will help them get more of what they want.

Kern calls it Results in Advance, it's worth Googling that.

I saw the post where you posted your tweet. It disappeared so I guess one of the mods got to it - no link drops allowed.

But, I think you are lucky anyone is clicking on that at all. I would never click it because it reeks of scam and fake. But that's just me.

Stop trying to twist peoples arms into being warm leads.

You need to get warm leads to come to you and odds are that Clickbank (most of them) is a turn off for traffic, stealing your traffic (sales page optin) and just an overall lousy experiance.

NEVER send traffic to a Clickbank sales page. NEVER! Say it with me, NEVER!

This will make sales.

1. Create content demonstrating the product you're selling. This is your bait for warm leads.
2. Post your content on the web where there's relevant traffic sources.

Right now you have nothing except a cheesy CB sales page and again, most likely stealing your traffic (sales page optin).

Create your own product that you control.

The only way you will ever make direct sales from the Twitter method I think you are using (hashtags plus a blind link) is through pure dumb luck. Emphasis on dumb.

(I'm not saying you are dumb here. I'm saying that this method resulting in a direct sale is pure random chance.)

What this curiosity-based method IS good for is finding people who will raise their hand and say "tell me more."

The link in your tweets should lead them to a page where you can do exactly that. Blogger.com is not a great solution, as they tend to frown on any commerce that is not Google-related. Lots of sad stories on this forum about people building traffic to a Blogger blog and having it disappear overnight.

If you have to go the free route, look at something like Wix instead.

Try to find one that also allows you to collect emails. Wordpress (self hosted, not wordpress.com) has a few plugins that might help. There are also autoresponder companies that offer free services (usually in exchange for putting their own ads at the end of each message).

None of these is anywhere near optimum, but may enable you to climb part way up the learning curve and earn enough to afford some proper tools.

And before you start begging, no I won't do your research for you. Man up, (or Woman up, as the case may be) and do your own research. As was mentioned earlier, Google is your friend.

If you can't afford to pull out your credit card to buy the right tools then you will have a hard time trying to get others to pull out theirs.

And the only way you can do is if you have built a relationship with them.

In the internet marketing space, the best way to do that is through email marketing.

You get them to opt into your mailing list, you send follow up emails, you close sales through emails.

Website builder? Wix, Weebly are around. Don't hope for a custom domain if you are not willing to pay for one. Settle with a subdomain.

Autoresponders company usually offer one month free trial.

How to set up pages with Wix / Weebly or How to build an email list, what to write in your email list all can be found on Youtube if you cannot invest in a simple course. You just need to dig those information out.

And do give yourself enough time to see success.

And if you found a twitter method on the forum, have you compared the experience he/she have and the size of her audience versus yours or the way he/she communicated with the prospects?

You can join some affiliate programs and have them on your website. While it may not be for your business specifically, but you can make some money to get yourself a good landing page. Your cold traffic isn't converting to good leads because they don't see that you have anything to offer them. You have to make sure you can provide a solution to someone'e problem, or add value, in their day.

No money , start a blog and place related ads. Traffic can come organically via search engines or putting links via twitter etc.. No more forcing to have them buy, they co.e to your website and buy..

If you like blogging, you use article marketing or guest blogging to attract leads. Also, you can create ClickBank review page to convert the cold traffic.

I think you have just need to use the hashtags which are related to your services, so it may be effective to get leads.

I would suggest forgetting about Twitter. If you are really strapped for the cash then go with blogger as has been suggested.

To drive traffic to your blogger blog I would suggest Quora as this is working quite well now.

If you are using Quora don't start off all guns blazing and dropping affiliate links everywhere, thoroughly research some good answers and only after the first 4 or 5 drop an affiliate link but not in a spammy way.

Also make sure your bio is fully completed.'

Dave makes a good point. You don't want to appear spammy. A lot of the times your posts will get deleted or people will not pay attention or take you seriously. Do you use Google Adwords for your website? I am looking for affiliates.

Twitter is a whole different ball game ,the buying and selling doesn't happen at a fast pace like face book . I think that you should read jab jab right hook written buy Garry v..Other wise you can get leads using you tube .

quora is best, become good auther, and slowly add links, or direct to your landing page, or better off a blog post with sales links.

So do the soft sell is what I am saying, but the better your content, the more sales you will make.

Hey , have you tried FB postings also on differen groups? converting cold traffic vs warm traffic.. takes time.. it means creating your own database with emails in time.. and keep sending them emails.

If someone told me 20 years ago that one day you would be able to make a profitable business online and receive an income as well, I would have never believed them. It's true, you can make a huge success online if you have the know how. As suggested, try some other social media like Facebook and Instagram to drive traffic to your site.

You probably can hire someone on Fiverr to easily create you a squeeze/landing page. Or simply buy a tool like Optimize Press. Get an easy job offline in your spare time and use it as your advertising revenue. Really easy.

For extra leads start an advertising campaign. Start with basic PPC. If you're short on funds and are using social media for your traffic solely, consider generating leads and following up on them - instead of leading them directly to your sales page cold.

Try getting 1000 clicks, then take a look at the statistics, and then try to improve.

What you are doing is very hit and miss.
You need to focus on building trust.
Create a community on social media - Faceebook, Twitter, Youtube and give value.
Give away free stuff.
Start blogging.
People need to trust you before they will buy.
Yes it will take time, but that's the way this business is.
You have to put in the time and effort.

Warm them up Nalin with helpful, free content on your self-hosted Wordpress blog. Give away helpful information to prove you know your niche. Folks will warm up and clicks increase and business grows when you prove that you know your stuff, by creating valuable content related to your niche.
