Is my domain/website worth anything?

Might be a piece of string question.....but with just the basic facts that I have a domain that has a DA of 23 and PA of 26 - niche is nursing and healthcare......can anyone suggest what I could do with it? I really do not have any interest in the niche any more so would rather not get immersed in it. But, if I could sell links/offer guest posting/sell the domain....that would be good.

Anyone any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

    Hi Alan,

Your domain is in a YMYL (Your Money Your Life) industry. I don't know what your domain name is but you could offer to sell it to a business in this industry that offers services that are relevant to your domain name.

Obviously, if your domain name has no keywords in it and it's a brand name, it will be more difficult to sell it. This is especially true if there's no business related to it.

Wishing you the best with this.

Hiya and thanks for the reply!

Obviously, I would rather have a regular income from it no matter how small....but I like the idea of selling it also. I shall give that some thought, thanks

    Alan,

I have been in a similar position a number of times and have usually found that it is best to simply dump the web site and put all your effort going forward into your new projects that hold your interest.

Why? Simply because it takes time, effort, and even money to market and find a buyer for your old site. You're investing further into something you're trying to unload which reduces further any profit you are going to get out of the site you're selling.

Unless the subject site is very valuable (meaning it has lots of great content, an active subscriber list, receiving good consistent traffic, and generating current income), I have found that even if you can sell it for a small amount, any profit you make is not worth the increased time and effort it will take to get it marketed and sold.

Just my opinion, of course, based on my own experience. For me, it's just not worth my time, money, and continued effort to try to crank out a few hundred dollars from a site or domain name. Sometimes simply cutting your losses and moving forward without wasting any more time is the smart thing to do.

    The best to you,

    Steve
