How can I monetize my YouTube video?

Here's how I do it.

1. Add a call to action to your videos
2. Offer a lead magnet to entice visitors to subscribe to your email list
3. Warm them up over a few days with high value content
4. Ask them to purchase a relevant product

The product can be your own, or you can earn commission on an affiliate offer.

There are going to be dozens of ways to monetize your channel, that's the one that's working best for me.

Another idea could be to seek sponsorships - and run your own adverts at the beginning or ending of each video (but check the ToS beforehand).

For starters, two videos isn't enough. Keep making videos.

For YT monetization, I believe the minimum is 4000 of total watch time hours over the past years plus 1000 subscribers. And this is just to be considered. There's no guarantee if you meet these numbers you'll get approved and it could take some time at that.

You probably should focus on getting people off YT and onto email lists. Then use your list to send a combo of info and offers. I don't know for sure, but something like tee shirts may work? Check out Printful.com. They will print tees with no minimum and offer a lot of other print on demand products.

Go to Amazon and find everything related to your niche...including things like gospel music, etc. Also do comprehensive google research for related affiliate programs other than ClickBank.

But for now, work on coming up with a giveaway to encourage people to sign up for your list and take it from there. Start making a bunch more videos that people want to watch and add a call to action on all of them to visit your email squeeze page.

First you should reach a great number of views and then you can easily monetize.

YouTube videos should have a call to action which is a statement that directs a reader to do something. It could be something as simple as "Call today" or "Find more information about our service here." A call to action should be direct, succinct, and most importantly, prompt a reader to do something. Calls to action should be included in meta descriptions, ads, email marketing and, where appropriate, blogs and web page content.

Lead them to your website. Put your website link in the description, not CB link. Do the things on your site. If needed, you can create a new other channel with any related videos and put them all in your website for your monetization purpose. Keep your first channel free from monetizing object, just put your website link.

Register Google adsense is the easiest way to make money from youtube.

Are you a pastor or minister?
Do you have some expertise in religion i.e have a theology degree or qualification?
If yes, use this knowledge to create an initial free report or video series.
By building your list you will also be redirecting people to your you tube channel.
Monetization can come from sending offers to your list whereby you are selling a short course or other information.
From memory i believe you need to have at least 100 subscribers to be considered for monetization and you tube pays around four bucks per 1000 views.
These superstar you tubers have hundreds of videos and millions of views that make them big dollars i.e lots of time and effort involved.

I would add that call Michael mentioned and direct viewers to your blog, or to join your list. From there you sell content aligned with your niche. Perhaps eBooks on Christianity or affiliate products. Keep the connection; that's the key. Connection = profits when you sell eBooks or paperbacks or affiliate products or pretty much anything related to your niche. The methods/channels don't matter as much as the connection does.
