And now that I have some numbers behind my product I want to put my product on an Affiliate network like Clickbank.
But because I'm not in that field I was thinking to ask you for some advice on what network.
I see that similar softwares are on different networks, but somehow I was thinkig to go with Clickbank.
Here are some numbers, descriptions and funnel steps that I have.
About the product:
(Don't know if I can put a link here, so I will describe it)
It is an Addon for Microsoft Excel.
Unique is in that that it gives the user the possibility to create desktop database apps in Excel without coding (lookup forms and master-detail forms without coding for the data that is in Excel tables (something that wasn't possible until now)).
As suggest by guys here I'm giving potential customers that did download it and test it a survey to identify the best persona for this product.
60% of them are Excel Intermediate
21% Excel Beginner
18% Excel Advanced
A more advanced feature of Excel is coding in a programming language called VBA, the numbers for VBA:
63% VBA Beginner
22% VBA Intermidiate
15% VBA Advanced
62% of them want to use this app for Personal projects
20% just for Testing out
12% for me and my team
8% for apps I could sell to others
Based on Facebook and Google pixels:
Top 10 Sales by Country (from Woocommerce):
I learned that the old methods of buy now, please buy now, only 24hours left that repeats every day don't work (and I'm a programmer, not a sales guru).
So, the funnel that I'm currently using goes like this:
Visitor comes to the site, looks around and if he maybe finds it interesting and he takes a look on pricing he sees that there is a 14 days trial and a paid version that is still not available for the public (and it will never be in this way of purchasing (just going to buy now page)) . I like to hook him first with free and learning materials.
So, what he can do if he is interested, he can opt-in for 14 days of free trial and free how-to videos.
When he opts-in he is forward to Video 1 page and a welcome mail with downloads.
Video 1 is an introduction and learning no selling
Video 2 goes next day with learning and also no selling
Vide 3 goes on 3rd day with learning and at the end an offer to get 10 x licenses for a price of 1 ($147) and also bonuses like 3 Udemy courses about this product around 8 hours of video and value more than $1000
This offer is available for the next 3 days (with email sequence).
If he still is not converted on day 10 he gets an offer to name his own price for this bundle (minimum price is $27, suggested is $60)
This name your price I will change to a down-sell of maybe $39
So now that you know about the product, current numbers and the current funnel. Would you say that Clickbank is a way to go for this product, audience and this type of funnel?
Will on Clickbank be affiliates that are interested in this type of Vendor?
Any comments, ideas, suggestions?
