Traffic and Conversions.

I've been on this forum for 10 years now.

I've consulted with companies that do tens of $millions per year.

Here is what I would do:

If you've just started or been planning your online business.

I would concentrate on traffic and conversions.

Traffic:

You need to get in front of your audience with your message. You need to stand out. Your have to have a unique message.

Get your message in front of as many people as you can.

There are Tons of traffic sources. Start a website with your posts, articles, etc... Spread your message, get your hands dirty. Upload your pdfs into document sharing websites, find relevant websites where people hang out.

Connect with influencers.

Go to buzzsumo (dot) com and find influencers. Connect with them and tell them how you can help them, offer something valuable. Offer to help them first without any expectations of a return favor. Get noticed.

Conversions

Build a website and build a landing page.

Make your goal to build email lists. Your lead magnet should also be something else than just an ebook. Think outside the box and create something really unique that they don't get anywhere else.

An email list is a true asset. Connect with your potential customers. Create a cult. Create a following.

Tell your story. How you got started. People love good stories. People remember them.

      I think the most least understood aspect of Internet Marketing is there is no such thing as "Hidden Tricks". TRAFFIC is what creates dollars. You don't post on Social, you LEVERAGE social. You don't Post on your blog, you LEVERAGE your blog.

      The whole idea of posing things and expecting traffic is simply not how it works.. that is just the beginning of the work. Its then using that Content as a way to develop Authority on a subject or niche. USE / LEVERAGE what it is you are sharing in your social posts and website posts as knowledge - As being an "Expert" in the topic, and that is how people will migrate to reading your content and buying your products.

      Simply posting and hoping they will come, does not work. Running around the net and dropping links to your content, does not work. SHARING what you know - is the path to success.

      As someone posted in this thread, there are no secrets.

      There are only traffic and conversions.

      Convert traffic into sales.

      You do that by getting people to your email list, fb group, your fb pixel, your retargeting list, etc. You build an asset that you can leverage.

      If you have an email list, you can send people to your offers, affiliate deals, etc.

      But before that you must make them fall in love with you.

    Of course, if you are selling something people actually want and/or need to buy all you have to share and they need to know, like and trust is your Paypal buy button.

    Of all the thousands of online sales I've made maybe a handful of buyers even know who I am.

    I have grown a dependency to online marketing and ever since the inception of the Internet, I no longer worked for a day in my life. If you want to succeed you have to put in the hours for your education. Then it all boils down piecing the missing pieces of the puzzle.

    Just hang in there long enough and you will make it.

    Targeted traffic is KEY. An email list is not. There is no RULE that says that if you don't build a list, you will not be successful.

    I know some TOP affiliate marketers who don't build a list and are doing really well.

    At first the most important thing is to set up an awrsome product or offer and make it outstanding and irrestible !

    Then need to target the dream audience according to niche.

    These audience can be from facebook groups, instagram or related forums.

    Then it needs to be attract the audience by providing value, helping them by solving problem.

    If anyone do this continuously , traffic will come organically and conversion rate will be sky rocket.

    Now a days , without providing real help and quality content , its very hard to get results in the end.

    But if anyone can do this with consistency then it will create authority plus a long term business.

    The trick is to get your message out.

    To many people think you just throw up a website and the sales come in. It takes time and work to become successful.
