Promoting project in the USA

I'm from EU and I created 2 short-term projects. By short-term I mean projects that would possibly generate fixed revenue and then stop, like selling fixed amount of something. Because of the nature of those projects I kinda doubt that they would succeed in the EU.

Why do I think that? First of all I'm from a small country (Croatia) and let's exclude UK from that, they are kinda smaller America.
- Hardly anything goes from within Croatia or other EU country outside of it, of course it does, but I'm talking about projects or tech that are not making significant influence on the world.
- I know few examples that went beyond borders of Croatia but was shut down fast, didn't get much attention
- Culture and language, among other things, are way too different between EU countries and most of them are reporting mostly news from their own country
- UK/US media is much bigger, larger and have more influence on the world

I know that my projects won't be recognized in my country at all or even if they were people won't be interested, market is too small and mindset is closed-minded. My main question here is, should I even try with promoting those projects in the UK/USA alone or should I find a partner for it?

In my opinion, forget about advertising your project/business for your country audience, as you already said these smaller countries in EU which are not a richest ones have mindset close-minded and I think it's not worth it. Better concentrate on US market and you, of course, can do it alone. Does your project have a website to check the info and learn about your business?

Yeah it makes sense to promote to the US/UK market, after all they are passionate consumers. But in the EU there also markets that hold influence, I think it's also worth it to promote to countries within the EU like France, Germany, Spain and others.

I have tried promoting to France myself beginning of this year, they are passionate consumers to when it comes to something they like.

In the end, it's all about having demand for your product/business.

  • Have you done your market research before starting your project?

If your market is in the U.S.A. & U.K then promote your project there. If your market is in the E.U. then market your projects there.

It all boils down to who is willing to pay you for what you have to offer.

It's a bit of a mystery. We do not know what your projects are, so it's hard to suggest anything specific.

On the other hand, I'd avoid finding a partner if I were you. Accomplish your goals on your own.
