Is anyone familiar with Profit Hub Webhosting? Is it worth it, or is it too good to be true?

Hello,
So in amongst the plethora of emails that I receive daily, I received one for a product/service called "Profit Hub", which is a web hosting service. It is very affordable, even with the upsells (I researched the upsells), and it quite frankly, sounds too good to be true. However, hosting can be pretty expensive, and this sounds like a great deal. I'm thinking about buying it just to try it, and if it ends up being worth it, then it will be money very well spent.

However, I thought I'd jump on here and see if there are any voices of wisdom concerning this product before I spend the money. Does anyone have any experience with this that can offer feedback/advice?

Thanks,

Anthony

The 'launch date' is listed as may 19, 2021.....12 days ago? Some here might be familiar with the 'line' of products this one is associated with.

Doubtful anyone except those selling it as affiliates would have any real info to offer. Maybe you can try it and later leave a 'product review' here for others?

I've learned not to trust 'lifetime' anything - but that's just me. Personally, I'd also have a 'red flag' when I see '$5800 value for 16.93' or whatever on a super long sales page...but again, that's MY own view.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I also am very skeptical of anything with a sales page like that. I've bought many shiny items in the past that didn't work out so well. However, things have progressed in the world of cloud services, so there potentially may be something to it. I may jump in just to see how the water is. I have a domain I could throw on it to test it, if I can find the time (that alone may be difficult to achieve).

I think it could be interesting to test it - and affordable. I wondered if the cloud location presents a security risk but I'm not techie enough to judge that.

A couple review sites actually showed an index page for the sales page...reminded me of those 20-30 page sales 'pages' we used to see a few years ago. A bit over the top for the product price but maybe the upsells are big....I didn't check those.

Hi, spider222, I am an avid user of that tool and for me it's worth it so far.

I have been dealing with hosting companies for close to 30 years. At one point I was the director of engineering at Sun Microsystems, for the business unit that provided products for Internet Service Providers. I know, personally, the founders and executives at several hosting companies.

Hosting is an extremely tough business. The margins are very thin. Companies get into it and make all sorts of promises, then have to cut back when they see how fast they are losing money.

I avoid "bargain" hosting. I know that, even if they start out great, within a year or two things will turn to crap. And I don't have the time or patience to continually move my sites.

The "Profit Hub" business model is unsustainable. They have no ongoing revenue stream... the only way they can survive is to keep signing new customers, in larger and larger numbers. It's just a ponzi scheme.

I agree with Luna. Back in the day I had
      Host4Profit and everything crashed and
I lost seven websites some of which were
generating, I thought I would die. Nothing
was backed up by me or them.

Then I had around 80 domains registered
with RegisterFly. OMG that was awful.
They were going down and you couldn't
move your domains until ICANN got
involved but I was sweating bullets for
a couple of weeks. What a horrible
      nightmare.

      Live and learn.

If you need quality hosting plan, you may have it from either hostingsource.com or qhoster.com. Cheap, reliable and trustworthy they are!
