Cryptocurrency exchanges review site monetization ideas?

Hey guys

Any advice from people with a crypto review site, please.

So I had a post up once think I used WordPress.org, I signed up for a cryptocurrency exchange and I got some customers and made some money.

Due to this success, I may go all out and create a site, Thing is when the market took a big dives I had no one trading at all so no money.

Has anyone got any more ideas in other monetization methods for a crypto exchange review site?

also I was thinking of creating a lead magnet and build an email list but I've been told if I'm offering financial advice etc in exchange for an email address I could get in hot water.

Cheers for any help.

With Cryptocurrencey have you looked it to be an affiliate with coinbase ?They have a program. Also try promoting actual hardware. Amazon use to sell Crypto Wallets (probably still do ) been awhile since I looked.

With Crypto make sure you do every thing a 100 percent legitimate. This forum gets constant crypto spam. The majority of the threads get shut down, with the offenders banned.

Yes all I did was a small website promoting one of the crypto exchanges and joined their affiliate program and put the link on my site.

I was thinking about creating a bigger site now, but like I say as well as getting commissions promoting the exchanges through their affiliate program how else could I monetize in crypto?

Plus I don't want to just rely on Google so ill create a Facebook page youtube etc but crypto is competitive.

Its just I had a taste of how profitable it could be.

I was told that I probably would not be able to build an email list dues to the rules around giving financial advice etc in the lead magnet.

Good luck Marcus with your crypto journey, after visiting your site, it appears you have had several journeys in IM over the last 12 years or so. If you are going to FOCUS on this one, it might serve you well.

But as far as people with crypto review sites, I'd bet YOU know where and who most of these are already. Maybe pick one which looks good and sort of follow what they do?

There is another post somewhere about selling tools to the miners, which may be what you want to consider too.

Crypto is fresh. But so was bring the fresh at one time, Eh?

Hope you are able to achieve your goals, good luck.

I was thinking of ProfitTraveler on the 10th (yesterday) in the making money 101 thread he said selling shovels to the miners...and I think with crypto, that too will be a growing market for some time to come.

Tools like research, exchanges like what you want to do, more in depth education, and spills over into all bockchain advances and decentrialized money holders, etc.

    Hi Marcus

Have you looked at including NFT reviews? Crypto trading may be down but the NFT market is still going.

The crypto "market" right now is REALLY shallow. Right now it is all about the coins themselves, and not the driving force behind them - the actual blockchain.

Its the blockchains, once things settle will have the value. As an example, I am holding Doge, for this very reason... the chain is ridiculous, Stupid fast, cross platform compatible, and inexpensive. BUT its short comings far outweigh its benefits. A "World" class world use blockchain at the end of the day will not have a name such as "DogeCoin".

If you drop the concept of currency and look at the "Bank" aspect of whats running around - that is where the long term money is. Im hedging my bets on a few, but I just dont think the "Winner" is out yet. The issue of security is huge.. and right now there is none. On a daily basis you can read about wallet and exchanges thefts - its ridiculous.

At some point, NFT's will just be a thing. There is currently not an exchange, or a blockchain that could handle that at scale. Concert tickets, or tax refunds or Vax card or whatever will all be NFT's at some point. basically NFT's will replace QR codes.

The difference being QR codes are transferred via e-mail or text, and NFT's will be transferred to wallets, and that is a huge leap. I would say almost a quantum leap.

"Decentralized" as we know it today will change... it HAS to Centralize an amount. There WILL BE a standard currency. You can "invest" in this that or the other, but a standard accepted every where currency will come. Based on what I believe, it will be a inflationary currency ( it just has to be ) and there are some pretty interesting choices out now, that #1 have great blockchain (and not copies Of ETH, or BTC ) and #2 stability in price.

So the VALUE in this is not the coin value, but the exchange fee values... so this fits more into a stock market mentality where there are actual numbers to look at to determine value right? unlike coins today that are basically just social experiments.

So you want ideas for exchange review site... Push Webull. and here is the clear cut reason... People in the States are not investing to spend the currency right? Its an investment. So buying Crytpo on Webull is about as SAFE as it gets, no wallets no coins floating around... NO THEFT. Every other exchange has a theft issues. Every wallet has a theft issue. I think Robinhood is in for a big hurt before to long with their wallet, it wont be pretty.

So thats your separation.. those that want to USE the currency, and those that want to INVEST in the currency or exchange. I know I could probably write all day every day on those 2 points alone.

    Hope that Helps?

Lots of good stuff to take away savidge4 cheers pal.

I will include articles on NTF'D and Blockchains plus webull.

Incidentally apart from Dogecoin what else do you recommend investing in?

And one last question is it viable and not risky to grow an email list in the crypto niche? I don't see anyone doing it?

Not sure who mentioned you can not listbuild in Crypto of course you can. But just like you mentioned you just need to make disclaimers.

I am on several marketing lists that now have included Crypto promos in some form or another and many affiliate programs popping up.

I will also be setting up some type of online asset in Investing that will include Crypto but not as primary focus. Just as another item in the portfolio.

As someone mentioned regardless of what platform you are on anything and everything crypto attracts spammers like flies on um... junk food.

Do you have any idea how much a website like "Thrillist" is valuated?

Almost every post is an independent affiliate money maker!

Lists posts work with everything..including finance.

      Hey Profit traveller

Yes, I just read that you may have to be careful when or if trying to build a list around advice on Crypto.

I was trying to find other crypto exchange review sites that were building a list for ideas but couldn't find any.

But it's something I would like to try this time around.

Like I say I had good months when confidence was high in crypto from being an affiliate for an exchange.

Then I had really bad months when crypto bombed.

So this time around I want to use different Monitizeation methods. Thats why I thought to go for building a list but read you have to be more careful when dealing with financial type advice.

Hey Marcus, you are ahead of most.

I love the idea of earning income whether you invest in the coins or not and there are hundreds of ways to accomplish that.

We do click forum sigs. Time to do an update when you are active.

The first thing I see when I visit your site...the irony of the words.

4 Months of Volatility since this thread created it is hard to pin point what to highlight.

Some of the most popular YouTube Financial websites have one thing in common and that is a link to an affiliate program like WeBull that has sign up bonus of 5 Free Stocks.

You could take that a step further and create a little Lead Generator "Resource" on how to expand on those first free stocks.

The Lead is really where the money is over time. (from a marketers viewpoint)

New exchanges, new software, new case studies, new tech can all be presented to that lead with a recommendation that may pay you commissions month after month no matter what is happening in the markets.

*Of course with any marketing presence you have online in financial niche you should have a clear disclaimer that you are not offering financial advice and risks involved.

Webull use to be 2 free stocks. Several Youtubers including Meet Kevin, Graham Stephan and Investment Joy were promoting it.

Then they switch to other places. On Upwork a guy is paying people to sign up on Acorn. Guess he is after the free stocks from the referral.
