    How old is your website?
It's normal for new articles to jump up and down, it's kinda a way google tries to figure where to rank you.

    What is your domain authority?

The higher your organic DA, the faster your new content will rank

If your blog is new, its DA is normally quite low.

Its called "The Google Dance" or "Google Bounce" depending on who you talk to. It will often time happen for weeks where new content will bounce into a decent position, and then maybe back to page 10 and then to page 1 and then not listed and then back to page 2. All you can do is ride it out and see where you land.

As a side note... dont bother looking at your DA because that really has no effect on WHERE your page will rank (to a small degree it does, But I have seen Neil Patel content on page 9, so it is obviously not all that and a bag of chips.

What you want to look for is how many pages do you have with 1st page listings? How many with 2nd page, 3rd page etc? If ALL of your content is on page 3 or lower, the chances of a new article breaking out and going to page 1 are oh so slim and none.

Search engine algorithms are very different now that's why your ranking jumps up and down with giant leaps at times. Their algorithm focused on usability, relevance, contexts and some settings. Keep updated with SEO, it changes a lot.

It will be indexed as long as the article will exists.
If it jumps up and down its normal as its new and secondly it also depends on how competetive is your niche meaning there can be another 200 bloggers who just wrote similar article and are ranking too and competing with each other.
How many keywords did you write?

I don't know if you did this, but maybe you built some low quality backlinks or somone else pointed some low quality links to your sites. Page 3 is to far in to get good traffic but if it has disappeared altogether, check your Google Search Console if you have one under links. If you don't have Google search console, get one, it's free.
