Setting Up Various "Accounts"

This question has more to do with the business side of things. Not sure I'm posting in the right place.

I own several companies and I run into this type of thing occasionally. I'm curious how others are handling it.

I'm in process of setting up my affiliate website. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, but I am trying to plan for future growth.

I have an eBay account. I'm planning to setup a PayPal and other accounts.

If (for example) I had several niches and people were buying products. Are you guys sending them to (1) PayPal account for different niches, etc? ...or would you have several PayPal accounts?

I'm assuming for tax/accounting purposes, you would have (1) all encompassing business "Matt's Online Business" - and setup all eBay, PayPal, etc accounts with that in mind...and run everything thru that.

Correct? (...or am I over-thinking?)

I'm planning to setup a PayPal and other accounts.

If you read the Paypal TOS you will find you can't just set up a bunch of accts...

You can have one business acct and one personal acct - and each must use a different email address. You don't want tax advice from a forum - trust me on that one.

You are over thinking in that you are trying plan before you've gotten started. Anything you sign up for online - google ads or paypal or ??? - always thoroughly read the terms and conditions you are agreeing to. These are business sites and "I didn't know" is not an excuse they accept if you violate the policies of the service.

Start by setting up accts you can use NOW and add to them as you need to.

...and I'm pretty sure one of them is a pigeon.
