AWebber vs Autoresponder on my server.

Hi Guys!

So i'm getting up and running and had a quick question.

I know that my web hosting company allows me to use an autoresponder on their server for free, however I've heard that e-mails that are sent from autoresponders that are hosted like that don't always make it through.

Whereas if I pay for AWebber it has a near 100% chance of getting through.

What are your experiences with this as it could save me a good bit of money over time.

Cheers
- Adam

Well you can be sure that your own autoresponder emails might get blocked by many isps.

For ease of use, minimal cost, delivered emails, and reliability you should for sure should consider Aweber.

There are thousands of different reasons.

Mainly, isp's will block your server.

Email marketing companies have servers that are registered with major isp's as genuine email marketing servers. Some companys have whole departments just to keep a good relationship with isp's.

If you want to send from your own server look up - Improve Email Deliverability, Avoid Blacklists with Email Delivery Solutions from Return Path - thats a company a lot of email marketing apps go through to ensure good delivery and isp relations.

If I were you Adam, I would undertake a search on this forum for threads/posts that relate to the question that you are asking. This same question comes up time and time again.

A search would locate lots of information to help you make an informed choice.

Opinions are divided on the subject. Personally I prefer a paid service.

        Just my thoughts.

        Regards,
        Jeff Henshaw.
