I haven't been on Warrior Forum in 5 years. Can anyone update me on what's going on?

You want someone to TELL you what has happened in the past 5 years? Does that sound logical to you?

Everything that has happened from 2019-2024 is in threads and posts on this forum.... The search function works and the forum sections are the same except for deleting the blog option and adding an Artificial Intelligence section.

Some of the rules have changed - you can read those in the stickies at the top of the main forum page.

Welcome back - where you been?

Some of the stuff seems very outdated. I was here last when Sean Donahue I think was his name was coming out with a software called like content wizard or something. Also, Luther with the celebrity marketing. Haha.i just want to know if warrior forum is as popular as it once was.

Are you use Classic View on your computer, the new threads appear on top. Speaking of Luther or Sean Donahue never heard of them.

Use the quote button so we know who you're replying to.

The name of the person you remember is Sean DonahOe.

The name of the product of his you remember is Rapid Content Wizard.

He rides motorcycles, and plays around with crypto.

Launches don't matter anymore. The big syndicates of email list collaborations are broken up.

The last big one I remember was Video Genesis with Andy Jenkins. There is no big hype train today. It's a disconnected mass of noise.

The market is incredibly saturated with everyone under the sun coming out with some kind of course...and then discovering they have no idea how to sell it.

The tools to build things are easier and more accessible than ever. But no one has figured out the "easy and cheap traffic generation" problem.

There is a whole new generation of kids who don't know the names Dan Kennedy or Frank Kern. They got told some tidbit by a fellow kid in a YouTube video and believe that 18-year-old kid came up with it. The market has moved from a small bunch of weirdos making money onlline (in 2010-12) to huge masses of people being told "you can do it!" by lying marketers. In fact, hardly anyone can do it.

Just like in the American mining towns of the 1800s, you can get rich by giving the greedy, short-term minded, quickly-expired energy public picks and shovels and other tools to pull the valuables out the ground...but few of the buyers have the abilities to truly find and extract those precious metals.

Hey all, I'm new to the Warrior Forum, so this thread peaked my interest. Hearing names like Sean Donahue, Dan Kennedy, and Frank Kern is helpful as I've been doing a deep dive into the history of Internet Marketing. Open to any more suggestions. Thanks, all!

Aw yeah, them guys all busted out here once -- jus' like the Rev Dwaylin Bleriot, Alix Cohen,
Las' thing I heard from Kern?

He grabbed Sean D by the lapels an' screamed NOBODY WILL EVER GET FRICKIN' DONAHUE! IT'S WAY TOO COMPLICATED!

As for Kennedy ... the guy is lost in his own monologs of immortal significance.

Yeah, but mebbe the fkrs will SHOW HERE AGAIN.

Evin if'n it is only in a WHY THANKS PRINCESS cuppacity to kinda sayiv their reputations.

Uh huh --it is naht like I beyond doffin' out smoochie to the right supplicant.

          Alternative view is:

OK WF, WHAT YOU GONNA DO TO GIT KERN OR KENNEDY OR CAP'N D* CHECKIN' IN HERE FOR REALS?

Could be the neatest evah projick gowin' for 2025.

          * Frick all you can do with 'Sean' tbh.

You are absolutely correct and your analogy is brilliant. So much has changed since I've been in the marketing game around 1995 and to a limited extent even the late 80s. The people coming into this game in the last 20 years have never heard of Joe Karbo, Gary Halbert, Dan Kennedy. Most of them weren't even born to have seen the famous direct marketers of yesteryears, classified ads, television, or otherwise. They do not seem to understand this is a slow brew business. Everyone wants it all right now, because they have been told they deserve it. No real grit is left.

That being said, I have seen notable exceptions here and there. It is definitely not the majority more than ever before is marketing considered by some to be sort of a dark arcane and mystical art. Or that guys like us are just "lucky" or worse yet "privlidged" haha

    What Kay King said.

It would be different if you had an extensive history of participation, you
were well-known and your presence was missed.

But to ask people to update you seems arrogant and self-important.

If you want to know what's going on in a forum, it's better to participate
    and try to blend in.

If you have any actual questions about internet marketing, post them here.

I remember those names. You joined just when the WF was being sold and things were changing quickly back then. The changes since 2019 have not been as drastic but as you can see the activity level has declined significantly. Social media and, in particular, Facebook groups have replaced many forums.

Yeah. It was so easy before, but things have gotten more complicated with rules on other websites when it comes to selling. Too many rules and not enough freedom. Less freedom means less room to play and I guess being able to experience what everyone has to offer.

A lot has changed, but some things stay the same--plenty of discussions on SEO, affiliate marketing, and digital products. AI and automation are big topics now, and there's a lot more focus on content creation and personal branding. Worth digging into recent threads to see what's trending newmagistv.com.
