Any examples you have would be helpful for us to give a reasonable response. Good products can be enhanced, built off of, supplemented, or twisted a bit with new and/or different information/perspectives.

Yes, stop thinking like a 14-year-old. (Assuming you're serious, of course).

People are "greedy" because they're doing something you wanted to do? The world doesn't owe you a living. Learn how to market a product. Study successful campaigns. Reverse engineer sales processes.

And take heart from the success of others. At least it shows you can identify an in-demand product.

You are thinking of a problem that doesn't exist. All products have been copied. The original one you are thinking about is almost certainly a combination of a previous offer with a slight twist.

When you see something you want to sell, just find out what it pays and start promoting it.

The real answer is that almost none of the people seeing your offer will know that there are even similar ones out there...let alone copies.

Believe me, every marketer has the same thought you now have. But it's a fear about a thing that doesn't matter.

Think of how many offers there are to teach you how to market online. Almost all of them are at least 90% the same. Maybe 99% the same. Variations on a theme. But they are mostly useful information. And there are plenty of people selling each of them successfully.

As long as the offer is good, fair, and delivers on its promise...and it's something prospects have already proven that they will buy...then it will sell.

In fact, the smartest way to sell a product is to find a list of people that bought one of the "copies" and sell to them. Why? Because they have proven....beyond doubt...that they will pay for the thing you sell.

Learn how to research upcoming trends.

Stop showing up late to saturated markets.

    Create original bundle deals.

    Develop your own original products.

Prepare for buying seasons well in advance.

Do things differently and provide excellence.

That's like going to a bar and seeing a hot woman...

then telling yourself: "Nah, there's probably too many other guys after her'.

Or, you can be the that guy that knows he can offer the same thing in a way the other guys can't.

Thanks, you get it. And if you want to get it made up at a competetive price you are probably having to do so from far east. They have a long lead time to make things ,often 30 days. And should you want any decent sort of quantity that could be another 30.So by the time you go to sell it some "greedy person" will have cut you .

Confucius said, "It is better to be greedy than to be broke."

Having things manufactured in the "far east" is not for beginners.

Buy things from Amazon and sell them on eBay or somewhere.

Sell an information product that you developed on your computer.

Although it helps to actually know some things to sell information.

Find a business that will ship directly to your customers (dropship).

None of this is rocket science so do not overcomplicate things.

It comes down to your marketing tactics I.e your strategy .

The market might be saturated with that product but you can still make more sales than the rest of those marketers .

If I was in that situation I would be focused on marketing value and promoting unique selling points .

Thanks for the replies-here is my take.
Gordon J- It is everywhere. Take handbags or figurines. If I see a design on a handbag
that seems to be selling well ,every damn greedy person is doing it. Yes, it can be enhanced ,supplemented or twisted.

    Max5ty takes your view.
    So does Jamell with Usp.

    .

Frank-i am serious about the point but trying to put it over in a funny way ,It is not because someone is doing what i want to do. Everyone does what I want to do at every turn. Virtually every product. The world should allow me to survive ?? It is no use telling the water people or the bailiffs -hold on a minute 'I can identify an in demand product'.

Spartan 14 -thinks similar to you-Yes they should leave it, but not only for me .I take it you heard the phrase, 'everyone deserves a chance' ? It is as you say how the world works-well it ain't working very well.

Claude-It is a problem if i see a handbag and everyone copying it.

Monetize-first post-I can't argue with any of that.
2nd post- Your pal Confucius says 'It is better to be greedy than to go broke' - well that depends on the effect that greed has on a person.
Where should I get stuff manufactured ?? Buying from Amazon and other places does not give anywhere near enough margin. I have to go beyond ebay at some point.
It is not a normal business model, with free advertising.
Information product is a gem that more than satisfies margin needed-but is not a concept for everyone.
Dropshipping- you have more trust than me.

Again, some people on this thread have been in business for 50 years.

      Take the pointers or don't.

Our comments will help somebody, since they don't seem to be helping you.

For several years, I had furniture dropshipped, my average selling price was $3K.

I sold various other items via dropship, if you are interested, read my previous posts.

If you have trust issues, that is a YOU problem.

Perhaps you also don't trust the mailman, the UPS man, FedEx, the bank, and on and on.

Being in business is not for everyone.

Certain individuals are better suited to just get a job and earn a paycheck.

And being told what to do since they cannot think for themselves.

      Good luck to you.

Find a unique angle differentiate through branding, bundling, better content, or targeting a niche audience. Being first isn't always key being better or more relevant is.

    - barriethethinker

You've tried to post at least four other threads asking questions such as:

How well does good advertising sell compared to not so good?
What are the cheapest products to sell, and do I need a color picture?
Why do some businesses seem to have no purpose?

If you hadn't responded to posts in this thread, your actions might be considered trolling.

Several experienced marketers have replied to you with advice under the assumption you might actually be serious about selling as a living. If that's the case, perhaps you should listen to what's being said and start studying sales and marketing techniques. You're not going to learn anything useful by firing off random and irrelevant questions.

Nor will you learn by coming up with hypothetical excuses for why ideas put to you won't work. That attitude will keep you from trying anything.

Decide on a strategy based on your strengths and experience. Learn about your market. Then ask questions specific to to the operation of your strategy. Understand that there'll be no short cuts or lack of competition. If knowing this deters you, then you're not cut out for this game.

    FACT IS:

When someone creates a product, someone else will copy it.

When someone builds a good looking sexy website, someone will copy it.

When someone crushes it in paid ads on a specific platform and has winning ads, someone will copy it.

When someone creates a winning tiktok viral ad, someone will copy it.

I can keep going but then you will be sitting here for hours reading my post.
