Question about submitting articles

Ok say you write 5 articles and you submit them to ezine articles. Is it good, bad, or does it really matter to submit these same articles to say 5 different article directories? Does it help out a lot to submit the same article to different directories? Thanks in advance.

In general, the more articles you can submit to more directories, the more traffic and backlinks you will get. Doesnt really matter if you submit the same article to dif directories. Some folks will tell you this is duplicate copy that will harm you but dont believe it. Time and again, you'll find the more experienced warriors here pointing out that this is purely a myth.

Great question - over the past 24 hours I've posted a few questions regarding article submission - look for them (artical marketing - the basics...) as they contain great info from the warriors.

Your next question might be - ok, where do I submit them to. In threads to my questions, some people wrote detailed instructions - so go check it out.

Can anyone reading this thread quickly mention how to get an article from my computer onto mutiple directories? I heard Squidoo was a great one, among others..

If you are going to submit the same article to all 5 directories (which is absolutely fine), submit them to Ezine first, wait for them to get indexed, then submit to the remaining 4. Ezine ranks higher than other directories, and if another site gets indexed first your Ezine article may not show up as high, meaning less traffic.

It really is a good idea to put the articles on your own site first, then change them up somewhat for distribution to other article directories. Build up YOUR OWN virtual real estate!
