Push notifications still worth it in 2025?

Hey guys, quick question. I always ignored push because I thought it was spammy/dead, but I tried it recently on one of my blogs and got some weirdly good results.
numbers from the test:
  • ctr went up by around 25-30%
  • epc bumped a bit, maybe 15-18%
  • Traffic I thought was lost actually came back lol

The setup wasn't hard, didn't cost monthly fees either. just a time thing.
Now I'm curious - are any of you still using push in 2025? Is it still working for affiliates/bloggers or just a short-term trick?
would love to hear if anyone's still running it or if email is the only channel you guys trust.

Yeah, push is still around in 2025, but it's very niche now. Works best if your audience opted in naturally and the content is relevant otherwise people mute it fast. Email's still the more reliable long-term play, but push can be a nice side channel if you don't overdo it.

Yes -- push notifications are still worth it in 2025. They drive strong engagement and retention, but only when used wisely: keep them relevant, personalized, and timely, not spammy. Quality beats quantity.

Of course, especially for affiliates and bloggers, your boost in clicks and earnings per click shows how useful they are for getting more engagement and trafficThey're great at bringing back people who left and getting them to act right away, especially when you personalize and segment the messages, they're not meant to replace email, but they work really well alongside it,perfect for sending quick updates or limited-time offers,as long as you don't overdo it and keep the messages relevant, push notifications can keep giving you great results without much effort or cost

Interesting to see they are still effective. I think the key is relevance. If you use them for genuinely important updates and not just spam, they can be a great way to bring back visitors. It's a powerful tool when used correctly

I tried it in 2025 two times. But never had such a good result. The increase was 5-8%. I guess it is not working as it was few years ago.

Yes, they work very well right now. In fact, many bug sites and media use them as a monetization method. They usually use the CPS payment model, so it's a medium- to long-term monetization strategy that can generate revenue over time. It also depends a lot on the company you use. I'm currently using Admaven's push notifications and I'm quite happy with the results.
