How Many WF OG's Are Still Around?

I'm curious if many of the Warrior Forum OG's are still around?

I know many of us have fond memories of this place going back to the 2005 ish times.

I learned a ton from the people in here I'm and curious if much of the old guard is still present?

And, I'm curious about the new folks. I haven't poked around here for a long long time, but interested in what the best parts of the Warrior Forum might be?

Got any tips for a grizzled vet who may want to dive back into the WF?

I believe Alex Cohen dyed his hair blue an' disappeared into the multiverse lustin' aftah a yodellin' gimpmonkey.

As for grizzled vet divin' tips, guess you jus' gotta say where u at.

Then evrywan else gonna eithah ignore ya, or say, "Wow! How cool!" or "Don't get it, babe" ... an' you can slip inta your noo 2025 WF rhythm like a vet's hand up a cow's ass.

Like the official WF Tees an' superhero capes say, "This ain't no forum; it's vermicide!"

Jus' to say -- we hittin' Q4 figuresyonupstuffs for 2026 rn.

Could be we always been dowin' this, we the in-house demographic.

An' you would wanna wondah what ground is around now -- for alla the propulsionstuffs you evah dreamed, the visions you nevah considered, an' (mebbe) like alla the rahndaahm stuff twisties horizons inta spin.

I would wish always for yestahday to live forevah -- max fave gasms eternal kinda shit.

But tamara demands we all git outta bed fresh an' audacious an' perky.

    Worst kinda peephole?

Them's say, " live each day like it was your last."

As a natchrl Sagittarius, I will forevah advocate FIRST TILL'N U BURST.

    'tis zoobrence, tellya.

    Hey Jason,

Derek Franklin here. You bought NicheBrowser from me nearly 20 years ago. Don't know if you remember.

It' funny you posted this a week ago... I just logged on after being absent for at least 10 years. I used to LIVE on WF. Been a member since 2002-2003.

I often wonder what has happened to all the old-timers. This was SUCH an exciting place to hang out in the mid 2000's. I miss that time in my business.

I've been taking it 'easy' for the last several years after developing video courses for Udemy and Skillshare.

What are you up to these days? Hope you're doing OK.

    Derek

Yeah, a lot has changed since the old days, but there's still good info and people sharing here. I think the best way back in is just to explore the new threads and see what sparks your interest. Are you planning to jump back in actively or just lurk for a while?

Great, but before you do, click on your user name in the black toolbar at the top and select "View Classic".

You'll be able to use the quote function so we'll know who you're talking to - and you'll get a warm and fuzzy nostalgic feeling.

            Hi Roger,

All good here, thanks! Hope all is well with you.

I think Allen still brushes past once in a while - I last noticed him post in the Kay King thread earlier this year. You can probably see that engagement is nowhere near what it used to be here, although I suspect there are still quite a few oldies browsing.

Anyway, always great to hear from you.

Oh yeah, I remember now, he became WarriorAllen when he handed over the Admin baton, right?

There are so many other names I remember and I wonder what they're all up to now. I hope some more can come out of the woodwork and post on this thread.

Hang on, Mark. I'm not dead yet. I just don't have anyone asking me anything...

              I'm like a robot. I don't respond until I'm asked something. :-)

I really miss the old days. What's funny is I didn't even realize exactly how big of an impact the Warrior Forum had actually made until quite a few years after I sold it.

In his traffic secrets book Russell told how he blew up his affiliate program from something I had mentioned. Stefan Georgi met his beautiful wife here. And actually his wife's story about coming to the forum for the first time and how it affected her business really blew my mind and made me feel great. Like, it was a really cool story.

And on Facebook over the years, I've seen guys with big names out in the market mention things about the Warrior Forum and how it had got them started and I never even realized they were even here.

I mean, I knew it had made an impact, a really big one, but I think it was actually far bigger than I ever realized.

Of course we got a lot of trash talk too, because the truth is, there was some trash here, lol. But I've never seen a place where there isn't. Awesome things happened for an awful lot of people right in the middle of the trash though.

It all depends on what you focus on, I guess...

Good to see all you guys, I'm telling you. Really good.

              Allen,

Back in 2005, you did something (I can't remember exactly what it was) to promote one of my first products... Search Automator. It took off better than I ever expected.

I used to have Clickbank emails of sales play the sound of a cash register opening. I remember sitting there with my wife in our living room hearing a constant stream of 'cash registers' going off for days... it was awesome! It changed my life.

              Thank you!

              Hi 'Allen',

I've got a folder that I occasionally read through and it has 'Private Posts Volume 1' and the 'Money and Power' interview printed out in it. I'm pretty sure that in there somewhere you make the same point about anonymity and I've always remembered that lesson, although I haven't always been able to follow that advice myself. Good to hear from you too and thanks for the lessons and the memories

I think it would be fun to discuss all of the old gurus and also the good guys (lol) like Paul Myers and to discuss what they're doing now.

I remember in my early days John Reese was well known for his Traffic Secrets launch. Then Ewen Chia appeared on the scene. Mike Filsaime muscled his way in and then Frank Kern appeared - right JMo? Then there was 'John Delavera' too with his slightly clunky turbo software.

I think some of the more forum-based guys who started making waves were Jason Fladlien and Chris Rempel. The guy who made DLguard and the xsitepro guy.

Then there was the old school guys Willie Crawford, Marlon Sanders, Jimmy Brown, Mark Joyner. From my country there was John Taylor, Robert Puddy and their gang and also the bloke with the sock puppet Sara Brown.

So many names to jog the memory when I scan through my old hard drives and see all those products I stupidly bought

Anyone know what these guys or others are up to? I occasionally do some googling and have a nose around.

      .
Paul Meyers can be found at paul@talkbiz.com. He has been sending out emails to his subscribers. He still gives out a lot of good information. He keeps subscribers informed about the latest in AI. In his last email, he is promoting two products. It's too bad the owners of this forum chased him and others off. Some of the others you have mentioned have not been here in years.

        Hi DWolfe,

        Thanks!

Yeh I've been subscribed to Talkbiz for many years to be honest. I guess I just wanted to name drop Paul in that list because he's one of the people who had the biggest positive impact on me in my time here.

I was hoping that some people might still be following others from the old days and could mention what they're up to in this thread or even share some stories about those people from the past because that would be interesting and might even bring some life to the thread!

I'm sure if Paul was here he might mention that it's Myers, not Meyers!

Been here since 2006. This (and the old Traffic Equalizer forum) were among my fave places to hang out two decades ago.

Learned a ton from both forums in those days, even though I never posted much.

The whole atmosphere was very different back then - everything was new, exciting & whatnot...

It's great to see old timers, even if we never interacted before!

The biggest difference between then and now can be seen on the New Posts page. For example, the Last Post column shows a date of October 29th, 2025 today. A week later, the page will look almost the same, perhaps with just one new post added, while the rest would be old posts bumped up.

In the old days, the current date would span nearly three New Posts pages, with someone posting every few seconds during peak hours. You had to constantly refresh the page to see the latest updates.

Back then, I would come and go multiple times a day. I only visit a couple of times a year now and don't stay long on each visit.

Edit: I checked about 12 hours later and the New Posts page seems "fixed" - now it shows today's posts only. :-)

Prompt action to feedback, good job!

A good number of longtime Warrior Forum members still drop in, but the mix has shifted plenty of newer users, fewer of the mid-2000s regulars. The value now tends to be in:

Case studies and practical threads from people actively testing things

    Niche marketing and freelancing discussions

Tools, copywriting talk, and traffic experiments
