For example, if I want a tool to just send out some personalized email such as newsletter or updates to my clients on a periodic basis, I have to either use an Autoresponder or send them out manually one by one, personalizing their names in the emails. This could take hours on end.

If I use an AR, I don't use the other 101 features that they offer such as scheduling and other stuffs that I have to pay for and most of the AR are SaaS. And most AR charge you based on the number of subscribers and messages that you sent. So for a person like me who has about 800 subscribers and need to send out an email once every quarter, the AR is an overkill.

I am trying to find a solution that can help me to send out periodic emails and newsletter and personalizing them individually.

This is just an example but I am sure there many other tools and software that are overkills for the regular users. Anyone else has this problem and what are the tools and software you wish that offers a simpler solution? Please list them down here.

I don't sit around and wish for things, I either use what's available
or develop a strategy that works for me.

Your solution could be to just use a basic autoresponder or switch
to a bulk SMS text sender that tells them to visit your website.

You should be in contact with your list more often anyway so you
can be making more money from them.

Use technology to work smarter and to develop income streams
instead of worrying about how many features the apps have.

    Merry Christmas Everybody!!!

It is more convenient now for the developers to promote the combined product, than to provide the suitable product for everyone.

I prefer to make my own tools, which are exactly suitable.

A simple WordPress-based solution or a custom script using Amazon SES might be a much better option.

Why can't you ask these people to SUBSCRIBE to your newsletter? That way you can send ONE email to everyone on that list who wants to get these emails from you.
