Wordpress problem no matter what theme

Hi everyone. I am currently trying to change my wordpress theme to something a little bit more simple. I'm tired of the green. However, for some reason no matter what theme I install, all but the first post on my blog is just showing excerpts. I would really like at least a few of the posts to show the whole thing on the home page.

Even when I switch to the standard wordpress theme, it is excerpting all but the first post. Can someone please help me switch up my theme and make it so my whole posts show on the home page?

Yeah I can't seem to find anywhere in the code to repace the_excerpt with the_content. Very frustrating

  Do you have a plug-in that automatically inserts the more tag into your posts? Sometimes when you upload a theme, it will automatically upload plug-ins as well.
  
  So, make sure that you do not have a plug-in that is automatically inserting the more tag into your posts.
