slighting embarrassing-simple question re: Private Messages

I'm having one of those days.

Can I attach a PDF from my desktop to a PM? Or do I have to upload it to my site and link to the folder of the PDF.

If I can do it off my desktop, how is it done.

Just looking for the easiest / quickest way to do this.

Thanks,

Z

If you want to avoid an upload, you could add it as a google doc, and then make the doc public.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

    Thanks dvduval,

Can't make it public, it my latest product and I want to share it with a few people on the forum. So I don't think Google Doc. would work.

I'm not seeing any way on this forum's PM system for you to upload a file. So you will need to upload the pdf to your web site and then provide the direct link to the pdf file within the PM.

You could upload the file to a password protected directory or page on your site and provide the password to select individuals via PM.

    Thanks Traci,

That's what I was thinking, was hoping that there might be an easier way, but guess not.
