What is the Ethical Way to Resell Infoproducts?

Hi everyone.

It's the Holiday seasons upon us and I both want to share with fellow warriors and make some bucks along the way. As with probably a lot of you, I bought a LOT of infoproducts/courses in 2008-2009.

Is there an ETHICAL way of reselling those to interested parties? For example, it wouldn't be ethical to sell a product that is still on the market or that has just been released.

But what about previous versions - with the info still pertinent - that for example came with forum and support? Obviously, if someone would buy from me they wouldn't access this, yet if they really like the product they could then become a "regular" client.

What is the accepted policy in this? I don't want to step on any toes here. Just help myself and fellow warriors who can't pay full price.

Thanks

Most products come with a very clear license.
It you did NOT buy resale rights - you can not sell. Period.

If it is a product that you bought for your own use and you do not have resell rights, master resale rights or PLR to it - you can not sell it. It is that simple.

It is not an ethical issue. It is copyright law.

Duh! I wonder why I didn't see that one! Pretty much settles it.

Of course not unless you actually bought resell rights. You do not sell other people's products. You make your own and sell those.

If you received some CDs, DVDs, or printed media, you can sell
that stuff, it's physical property. It is of course, illegal to bootleg
such things and sell multiple copies, but if you bought the book,
read it, and don't want it anymore it's okay to sell it - even if
the publisher/author doesn't like people reselling used copies of
his/her work, it's an accepted factor in information publishing of
    all kinds.

Reselling ebooks is totally not OK. Doing so encourages piracy
which hurts our industry a lot.

You got a point there. No infoproducts (unless resell/PLR rights) but physical products are OK.

      Thanks
