Before buying domains, you want to look at the terms in a KW research tool.

While it's not necessary for making money, targeted kw domains have a higher value and can rank quicker and more easily.

Are you thinking about going into domaining, or actually creating sites and flipping them?

Keyword domains. Domains that are just an actual keyword that will get good search results.

Here is an example. If you were in the Green niche, you are maybe promoting things that save on the environment.

The products you are promoting are recyclable. A highly searched term is "recycle center" which is getting 49,500 searches a month according to google, and is a term that is bid on for adwords campaigns.

So, this might be a good candidate for what you are talking about. recyclecenterblog.com

That domain (without blog in it) is actually available - along with the dot net etc. but they are very expensive as premium domains.

The good news is that if they are for sale, they are likely not really developed and this can increase your chances on ranking for recyclecenter in the first place. It will involve a lot of things, but having those keywords in the domain name does not hurt and has been known to speed things up on occasion. You are essentially telling google immediately what you are really about.

Yeah learn keyword research first unless its a really catchy name you think will be something new. Putting blog in your domain name really is not going to have any benefit what so ever. As the amount of people going for that keyword and over 2 billion results for the keyword "blog" makes putting blog in your domain name worthless.

If you are building a brand then yes, get a catchy name ... preferrably with your main target market name/keyword in the domain name itself. A .com domain is totally fine.

    Keep it up!
