The War Room would be a good way to examine several strategies.

Or he could just buy a domain and use article marketing until he turns blue in the face.

No need to spend lots of money.

I dont even have one yet-but from what I understand a war room account gives you access to a large variety of resources. I would say for value thats probably your best bet.

That, or find a niche; write a product, decide on how to distribute it, and spend the money on a decent design for the landing page.

"Make Money" products are like navigation systems. They can tell you how to get there, but they can't put the car in gear and mash on the gas for you.

The only "surefire" element is that if you don't plunk your ass behind the wheel and drive, you aren't going to get anywhere.

Allen Says - the admin of the forum - has a thread in the War Room subforum for his own plans and ideas, where he says "I've got to show you this pathetic little money maker." Several people have followed his lead and made thousands with the "pathetic little money maker" described in that thread.

Everyone that said War Room is wrong.

He doesn't need a WSO and defiantly doesn't need War Room Access. It would only make his head spin.

He needs to read, study and learn from the free sections and keep the $40 for PPC, hosting, domain, or something else.

That has got to be the worst thing he/she can do. PPC is a skill that is only acquired with time, effort and a hell of a lot more money that $40.

PPC is the quickest way of losing money known to man, if you don't know what you're doing.

You CAN make money w/ only $40 on PPC if you actually READ the free information on this forum. My first try at PPC was w/ $10 and it made me $40ish dollars. Of course I wasnt new to marketing.

BUT it can be done if you actually STUDY before jumping in. Using PPC at niche/smaller engines/sites, it's also a little easier.

My point was that he doesn't need to spend money on war room or a wso right now. That the money could be spent on better things for his current level.

It was real advice that every beginner should always be told.

I am probably the only one on this topic who agrees with this guy.

If I as a newbie on my first day jumped right into the war room I wouldn't have a clue what I was doing, it would have the opposite effect than helping due to the sheer scale of the information and I probably would've left.

I will probably always be the first to admit I am not that smart, too much information all at once in a way that doesnt build up gradually confuses the hell out of me, much like an video instruction book in japanese (which my brother can read incidently)

...far better to let someone get their feet wet in these rooms for a couple of months before they are ready and then progress when they actually have an idea of what they are doing.

I would have thought that to make these assumptions about the War Room you would have to already be a member there. I see you are not yet a member.

The War Room, if read correctly can be a great source of information for a newbie.

In saying that the OP never said their friend was a newbie.

I know my own mind and unfortunately it tends to have a hissy fit and storm off in a temper tantrum when it is presented with too much information when it is not ready for such things...140+140 out of 500 is absolutely fine, but if it has been cogitating this for a while and is suddenly presented with a new task at a corner shop where it is necessary to know 170+170 out of 500 when new circumstances are presented unexpectedly it will balk and walk off in a huff.

People assume that everyone has the ability to study or read one topic to the next in a logical way, this would be a false assumption...many people tend to bounce from one idea to another to yet another like a butterfly trapped in a vacuum cleaner.

We have to assume that the OP means that their "friend" is a newbie, even if we forget this whole charade and tell it straight that he has a few posts and has been around a little so should probably know about the war room and what it entails and that lots of WSOs are kept in there all for much less than most cost anyway.

Lets face the fact that the opening poster has 18 posts to his name, if he is asking for someone else surely that must mean they have even less experience lol

Anyways, the reason I am not a war room member or even built up anything right now is simply due to very pressing monetary concerns. Which is code for "I don't got none" No credit card or paypal which is working, which presents a problem so I am simply doing my research quietly. But by this token I never read any rule anywhere that said that if you are not a war room member your opinion or answer is worth less :p

I would have said the War Room (I think there's an echo in here!) if I thought that immediately spending money was necessary, but your friend could do a lot worse than just go through the All-In-One threads to start with. If a particular direction lights his fire then one of those could provide him with enough info to start making some money.

In a very short time he could be able to buy War Room access twice

I disagree. If the guy doesn't know how to make a site, (html or php, or what with, it's useless to buy a domain and hosting) would they know how to upload, ftp, transfer files, drive traffic etc, if they don't, then, what use is hosting and a domain name?

( I'll make an offer right here, just for this one person. Buffblaze, PM me who this gift has to go to.)

Tell your friend to purchase the war room membership. That will leave him/her with $10 change. They can use this to purchase a domain name at namecheap. And if it doesn't leave then with the $10 I'll stump it up for them. When they have done that, purchased the war room membership, Pm me with their username, I'll give them free hosting for a full year. Not only that, I'll give them support for the full 12 months too. One question a week for the next 52 weeks free.

I'd personally have to say that a lot of the material in the War Room is actually better for you when you are brand new to IM. There are lots and lots of intermediate marketers who can put great stuff out for beginners, but not so many advanced marketers who put stuff out for intermediates.

As a result, there is a wealth of information that is most valuable to you when you are just getting the ball rolling.

For example, in the War Room right now you can get for free the following beginner friendly guides:
    • "Niche Hunting For Newbies"
    • "How does 3k or more a month sound? Newbie friendly blueprint"
    • "A Proven System For Niche Site Building - Your $100,000 A Year Business Blueprint"
    • "COPY MY EXACT CPA SYSTEM THAT HAS MADE ME THOUSANDS!"
    • "How To Make $100,000 A Year FLOPPING Websites"
    • "FREE DOWNLOAD: 4 Hours, 9 Videos, $0 cost! How I make up to $12,978 per month on auto-pilot!"

And that's just at first glance. This is pure gold for a beginner because you can easily just pick one method out and just run with it. PLUS the writer of the content is there on the thread and accessible.

Clearly you don't want to try and jump head first into something you're not ready for, but as far as step by step guides that walk you through everything you need to know from $0 and zero experience onwards, the War Room is swimming in it.

Not really. When I first set out I had a budget. I had $100 to spend, but I instead bought something off of clickbank a few domain names and a hosting account that supported multiple domains.

There's a few WSO's that I've purchased are under $10 (offline mind map, $5; speed writing articles, $7 for for example) and some can be had for under $20. Which leaves enough for a domain to forward or hosting + domains a few domains if you use coupons. Or, he can at least start with some free blogs services and save that change.

Anyway, I'm sleepy and I'm rambling. I haven't bought the War Room, but I've been considering it. I'm doing pretty good with just searching the boards when need something.

The only downside is infamous information overload that happens alot. The good thing about buying a WSO or some other 'blueprint' is that you have a tunnel vision so you can focus on one method at a time.

        Hi

        Tell your friend to:
        1. search for everything related to article marketing and bum marketing on this forum
        2. learn how to write great articles
        3. spend $20-00 on a WSO that he/she can sell a limited pack of 10 articles for $50-00 and save/reinvest the money. Build a list.
        4. start another WSO with the other $20-00, and sell another pack of 10 articles, on a different niche, and save/reinvest the money. Build a list
        5. put together a pack of 20 articles, but turn it into an ebook, and sell it first as a WSO, then as an own product on Clickbank
        6. your friend could also write and submit articles to Ezinearticles and Goarticles, promoting affiliate products
        7. somebody from this forum might approach your friend for his/her writing services

      Just sayin'.
Of course, but was it really necessary to say it? lol

Me personally would stick to one system. The war room can
easily mess with your head and give you information
overload. It's a great resource non the less

Go try out the 30 day Challenge by Ed Dale. Just got off a
seminar with him and he's a true gentleman.
Not one pitch either over the 3 days..

Did I mention it was free. Go and Google it

Ok I will go out on a limb and recommend something totally different: tell your friend to buy a Big Mac extra value meal and then buy a war room membership. She will have something to crave her hunger while she spends the next 12 hours of reading the wealth of information contained there.

If your friend is of advanced age and cannot do all nighters like she could in her youth, then she should consider super sizing that extra value meal.

if( not member of war room)
    {
    join_war_room;
    }
    else
    {
    research_war_room_then_buy _WSO;

Really surprised that you guys (and gals) are flat out recommending War Room membership to a newbie with very limited funds and most likely ZERO understanding of the basics of IM. My advice: keep the $40, investigate money making methods you can start with ZERO investment, pick ONE method and apply yourself to it until you've proved to yourself that you can make money online - earning that first $500 - $1000 can do wonders for your confidence .

Hey, we were answering the question that was asked. No one said "this is his last $40" and no one even said "funds are limited"

        He SAID:

of all the WSOs out there

which would you recommend that leads to a surefire way to make money online.
I would recommend the War Room because there are not only regular sure fire plans to make money - but there are a good deal of WSO's in there as well MEANING you are getting the most bang for your buck. Why am I going to assume just 1 WSO to recommend when this is a ton in one.

Not to mention, someone here offered up some free hosting, etc.

Anyone can get that $40 back - and then some without spending another dime.

He will get to explore ALL the methods and read all about them before choosing one.

Part of running a business is making good investments - and the War Room is one of those for too many reasons to say.

Here's how every new internet marketer starts.

I want to make money on the internet! I will go and buy products about everything that I need to know to make money on the internet. I will read them all. Whoa, there's a lot of them. Way too many. I have too much stuff. There's not enough time in the day. Damn, there's a new thing! I need that one too. Ooh, and that one. And then I need this. Damn, PPC, I forgot about PPC - got to have a product about that.

And then they get overwhelmed and collapse under the weight of it all, and someone from the forum helps them up and points at the stack and says "PICK ONE."

If you send them to the War Room, they can get buried under that huge pile of stuff for $37. If you don't, they'll quite likely spend hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Because no matter how much we tell people this will happen, they insist that they're going to be DIFFERENT! And then, oops, they're not. They're just like the rest of us.

        So... yeah. War Room.

My first advice would be to join the War Room. In there you will get many wso's for free and you will be able to learn a lot of thing in there.

Another alternative would be to follow the 30 Day Challenge (its free). It has some really great info for newbies and you will learn a lot from it. Use the $40 for the domain, hosting and other expenses.

    tell him to read this:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-internet.html

It takes like 90secs to read. Keep the money, and instead buy a couple domains, hosting and hire some people off DP or here to write articles and content. (If he doesn't want to write)

War Room is good too, but it needs like 9 brains to even store the information you find there

Not to continue saying to same thing, but definately the war room should be the choice if he really want to spend some money.

You know the thing that you appreciate more what you pay for.

So maybe that will inspire your friend to make more use of information.

With that said, if he is really serious about it all, he should just keep that money and use the free information found here to start generating seed money to invest in future items.

I completely agree with Ross Kenny - if you're just starting out instead of the War Room - which is great of course - but for a newbie will make your head spin with total info overload - join the 30DC Challenge - free. Get a feeling of what IM Marketing really entails and then go from there. But cover the basic steps first. No use in joining the war room when you do not know how to register a domain, get hosting, operate wordpress etc etc etc.

I made the very same mistake each one of us:

    - Crawl first
    - Then walk
    - Then run

unless you're a wonderboy/girl and hit the jackpot!!!!

Being a member of the War Room is the best investment

I recommend spending at least a day or two reading posts in the Warrior Forum.

Teach your friend how to search (fish) in this forum for information and you have given him food for life.

One of my favorite Google searches it ... How to ????????????
