Traffic

Hi.

Other then alexa or google analytics, is there somewhere that can tell me how much traffic my site is getting?

    Your hosting, if you have cpanel should have AW Stats. You can also use Statcounter (it's free).

      I agree, I think that the AWstats in your cpanel is very underated. I tend to use it in conjuntion with installing google analytics on my website....
      Plus they are both free which is a bonus...

        Hi.

        As its my first website, used blogger blogspot and have no access to Cpanel, etc. Now wishing had registered a cheap domain name together with a hosting service that will be needed anyway for future projects. Did try google analytics, given some code to paste in the HTML code. Containing Javascript, its not totally compatible with blogger code unless I perhaps make adjustments to code. Have been using:

        Statbrain.com - Tells you how many visitors any site really has

        not sure if its totally accurate. Is there any other websites that does the same thing? As for adding a counter, I go to it so many times, my visits get added to the counter it becomes a little difficult to see since its not attracting huge traffic at the mo.

    Or Google Analytics. It will tell you a lot about your traffic.

    When I was running on a dedicated server I got full tracking right down to which exact pages and not just the url domains the user clicked through to my sites from, It also told me alot more about my traffic than google analytics etc etc, the company I was with was 1and1 internet if that helps you any.
