Your list communication frequency.

The title of this thread sounds more technical than it should

BUT

How many times per week do you message you email subscriber lists?

It is important that you don't saturate your subscribers with "opportunities".

Depending on the niche list I am communicating with, i usually try and refrain from contacting my subscribers more that twice per week.

I email subscribers 2-3 times a week and only pitch 25 percent of the time. The other posts are usually links to a recent blog post, a free report I found, etc.

I like to make them feel like I'm "hooking them up" with something cool....

This works for me...others may vary.

Thats a very good pint Rick - that you only pitch to the subsriber 25% of the time.

When I was first starting, I tried emailing my list daily with updates, free stuff I found, and some reflections I had That was very time consuming and a few mentioned that it felt like spam. Now, I limit my emails to about 2-3 times a week as Rick had done.

It all depends on why they joined your list, and what you to get from the list?

No right or wrong answer, just do whatever feels natural to you. Don't worry about unsubscribes, a smaller list of people who want to hear from you is better than a big list of people who don't!

The main think is not to promote things that you're not comfortable recommending, or something completely unrelated to what they signed up, eg send biz ops / MLM to a list of golfers is not going to work!
