INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Everyone,

My question is....

Can anyone tell me how you remove twitter followers who are not following you back now?

I used Twitter Karma for this up until very recently but they have withdrawn the bulk unfollow facility because of Twiitters Terms and Conditions!

Any suggestions?

Greg,

for a freebie, search Google...there are still some floating around. I use Tweet Adder...their service is non-existent but the software is good...when it works.

Yup, Social Oomph is great especially if you have many accounts. It also can help with facebooks and blogs.

I've come to the conclusion that Twitter is nothing more than a giant FFA fed via automated systems and a total waste of time, except for getting backlinks.

I use twitter the same way I use my lists, so I respectfully disagree that all it's good for is backlinks. I'd use the professional SocialOomph, it's the best of what I've tried

I agree with you about it not being a waste of time and just being good for backlinks.

If used correctly it can be very good.

Most twiitterers use it incorrectly IMO.....they just send one pitch after another...

ArticlePrince, I have to chime in and agree too. I think there are so many people out there who are using Twitter incorrectly, and it does require some work (there's the dreaded 4 letter word again!) to build trust and a relationship with your followers. Twitter is NOT about spamming affiliate links like crazy or pushing a button on some automated software, you need to respond like a human to your followers and take the time to nurture a relationship with them (just like a list, as ArticlePrince has mentioned).

Use Huitter.com, but, switch to their older version. People such as myself are experiencing problems with Twitter auth on the newer version. But luckily Huitter does give you the option to switch to the older version which still works perfectly.

Here is a tool: Flush the Twitter users that do not follow you back :: Tweepi

Sign into tweepi via Twitter and they will bring in everyone who doesn't follow you back, go down the list and place a check mark beside each name then hit the "unfollow" button...
