I have received a Google coupon. What to do with it?

Today I received in the post a 75 euro coupon for adwords, redeemable until the end of the month.

Should I use it simply as a tool to go for affiliate commisions or should I plug it into my long term website project that will not be giving me an income for a number of months still?

What would you do?

Most of the coupons are only redeemable with new accounts. I would say apply the coupon, and save it until you need. Although a few quick bucks may be nice, I've always been a fan of the long-term income stream.

I remember when I applied a $50 adwords coupon and almost decided to spend it all on advertising affiliate products...Luckily, I saved it and now use it on my opt-in page, which has much better results!

It is more or less what I was thinking. The thing is, my long term project may well take A LOT of timebefore it converts into decent income (the word FREE is involved, enough said) so I was thinking about the possibility of trying to convert this coupon into ( hopefully) a few affiliate sales to reinvest.

I thought " If I´m going to spend it on affiliate marketing then it better be a decent affiliate commission per sale or else it will probably be wasted (it´s not like we are talkng a grand in adwords you know?) hence the doubts.

I got one today for $75 and was told my account is too old to redeem it.

Why send it then Mr Google?

I got one too - and in the fine print it says valid only for new accounts - -but I thought duplicate accounts were against the TOS?

The key factor with having multiple Adwords accounts, is having as many accounts as per the amount of different credit card accounts you have in your stash of business tools... including new accounts and Not using the same keyword related campaigns more than once!

Not to be taken as legal advice but some suggest there are misc. ways to manage things and dance around Google usually with no problems. Test, test, test, nice and carefully!

I got two $100 adword coupons in the post. I was uncertain about what to use it for, I applied for a CPA network, I'm going to use it to get opt-ins and create a list =)

You can run some ads in your adwords account from the same.

i got one with £75. Pretty Cool. I suggest set up your campaign to drive traffic to your squeeze page. If you would drive traffic to affiliate link and not gonna make any sales, you dont have anything.
