Is there a way to see more than 20 results for the hottest trends of the day?

Thanks!

they used to but I think they lowered it to just 20 which is kind of annoying. I remember about 6 months ago they had a list of 100 and I have it bookmarked but now its just 20. I think they only show the top 20 now.

That's what I thought. I'm working on a couple hours sleep today, so I just wanted to make sure I'm not crazy!

      Thanks!

For those who are annoyed that the trends went from 100 to 20, don't be.

Here is why and also why it actually makes the trends more useful.

The reason the trends were dropped is because Google saw that there were
people who were manipulating the system. (No surprise there) Through black
hat methods, they would artificially create trends that didn't really exist.

Then...they would put up sites for these trends that infected PCs with
        trojans and other nasty viruses.

Google figured out who these folks were and what they were doing and
knocked those trends out of the system.

Now, the trends you get are actually ones that people are looking up.
The quality of the trends goes up which means the chances of you
actually making money with them goes up.

My success rate per trend went from 40% to close to 70% since the
        changes.

This was the best thing Google could have done.

    Hi Steven,

What I meant by "thoery" was that in theory it's a good change. Not that the reason it changed was theory. Sorry for being ambiguous in that regard.

Funny how communication happens here sometimes, isn't it?

    All the best,

Ah, I see what you're saying and now I understand what you're hoping for...
a replacement for the lost trends and not so many duplicates or similar
      trends.

Unfortunately, this is the way it's always been. Google doesn't have a
filter other than weeding out the garbage trends. But if a trend is legit,
it doesn't matter if there are 10 related trends to it...it will stay on the
      list.

It's just the way they do it, and I do understand why.

When I first started testing this, I found that the trends towards the
bottom of the list produced almost no traffic, while the first 30 or so
      usually did fairly well.

Honestly, I never saw the point of a top 100 to begin with but hey, that's
      what Google had.

I think they finally realized that there just weren't that many good trends
out there and thus, reduced the list.

As I said, as a result, my success rate (the number of trends that make
me money) has gone from 40% (in the old days) to close to 70% today.

So even though there are fewer trends, and on some days many that are
related or almost the same (just a word or two different) the overall
quality of the list is much better.

Anybody using this as an income model the last 2 years certainly has to
      have seen the improvement.

Would it be nice if there were more quality trends?

Sure...but I seriously doubt that's going to happen, not as long as the
black hatters insist on ruining it for everybody else.
