  Stating the obvious if in case u have overlooked it, just go to install new pluggins in your Wordpress site and type 'twitter'.
  
  You will get a list of several pluggins to do with twitter. Just choose the one suitable for you.

  There are a number of good Twitter plugins that are useful and available for free, as others have mentioned above.
  
  I've noticed lately that a number of users of a program called Twittollower have been reporting good results. This program automatically gets followers for you an the niche of your choice. However, it isn't free. It may still be worthwhile checking it out.
