Exit Popup or Delay popup?

What is better? An optin popup on exit, or on a delay, like say 10 seconds after someones reaches your site. Both would have a free report as incentive to join

    This is something you should test. I like the delay popup because I know how people really hate the exit popups. If you delay it for 30 seconds and there still on your site chances are there going to be really interested in what you have to offer. Just my opinion!

      I agree with supreme.

      I also use exit popups but never use it to give away a free product i usually use it to sell one of my products at a discounted price.

    It depends on what niche you are in. The best thing to do is split test the two options then you will know what works best for you.

      I use exit pop over as the last resort to give a free book. Before that, i do not want to distract my reader by giving him any free choices.

    I prefer to use exit pop up, this way I don't interrupt them, if they want to leave without taking any action then the exit pop up does its work.
