My 101th Post: 1.01$ Idea Contest

As this is my 101st post in Warrior Forums, I have decided to open up a small mini contest. The contest would be to post your ideas here in the thread. There will be 3 winners, and the prizes would be 1.01$ to each of them via Paypal or Alertpay. I know it might sound too less or next to nothing for some warriors but the prize have been kept in mind following the idea you will generate.

You are supposed to present your idea on

"You have 1.01$ in your account.. How will you invest this amount and How much you can gain from your investment in 10 days? "


Also please assume that you dont have a domain name, or hosting package etc.. You can use your services and add twists in it. But invest 1.01$ in something.

Please feel free to post your ideas. The members will receive 1.01$ and then the ideas would be implemented. Lets see how this goes... It will be fun. So start the ideas flowing in..

    What about time investment? There's ways you can make money online with $0 in ten days. Is limited time investment a rule?

    Dang it - why couldn't you offer this after your 107th post? could have saved me some time (and 1 step - step 1 below).

    Step 1 : go onto DP or other forums (or maybe a "get paid to") site.
    Objective here is to get at least 6 cents more, for a total of $1.07

    Step 2 : Once I have $1.07, search for a decent keyworded "info" domain that's free to register. Pick it up at Godaddy.com - 0.89 offer for info domains + ICANN fee 18 cents.

    Step 3 : Go over to Namepros / DP / other domain forums, try to sell it off.
    Objective is to sell it fast at a profit (say $5.50 or more) - quote a BIN price that's attractive.
    If it works, go to step 4 below; if it doesn't go to step 4a instead.

    Step 4 : If able to sell it for a decent amount, collect the money, rinse and repeat steps 2 and 3.

    Step 4a : if it doesn't sell fast - go across to freewebspace or freewebhostingtalk, look for a free host; set up a blog with 5 to 10 relevant "free to use" articles copied from EZA or GoArticles or other article directories. If you know how to, you could use UAW or some other free plug in to make it an autoblog...

    Now you have many options -
    sell it as a site,
    sell "text links" / blog posts on the site.
    offer ad space
    make an offer to put the sponsor's adsense on the site.

    yadda yadda yadda


    Use the money earned to re-do steps 2 / 3; rinse and repeat till a decently largish amount (a few hundred, or upto $1000).

    Now, use this as seed capital for the next venture...




    How much could you make in 10 days? Depends - but possible to hit $100 or more, with minimal effort. Of course, you could make a lot more with more effort (including unrelated activities / services that have nothing to do with the investment..)

    Hey iKontent, now that's what I call an idea. Please PM me your paypal ID so that I can pay you a huge sum of 1.01$ ... No lets make it 1.07$ instead so that you dont have to go to DP for those 6 cents.

    P.S. I am sorry but part of your money might go to paypal as their fees.
    P.P.S. Waiting for other twisted ideas !!

      Thanks for the offer, but I don't need this; fortunately, doing ok online.

      I put this up to sorta get the ball rolling, plus to share an idea - you don't need big money to get started, you could get started making small money and add it up to make bigger money...

      Feel free to pass it on to anyone else who wants to do this....

      PS : If you send the money as "personal payments -> shared expenses" instead of "online purchase" and use own funds (not credit card) - then paypal doesn't deduct any fees...

      PPS : Or, you could pay the fees, too...
