I know of the major ones, (JwPlayer, Flowplayer, Riva FLV player). Which ones do you use or recommend using? I want a wide variety, so please do not hold back.

Which one do you think is the BEST one?

Thankx

Flowplayer can get fidgety at times. I'm more comfortable with JWPlayer than any other.

This is purely from a techie standpoint.

VideoLightBox.com offers hands down the best new innovative video player in my opinion. You can see it in action by clicking my signature below.

The player just pops right out in your face. I personally think it's the best one to use if you're looking for something different that will catch people's attention because it definitely does. It works the same as any another player but adds the twist of popping out.

Thanks for pointing this one out to me. I had not heard of it before.

Thanks for that suggestion. It looks really nice... however I just noticed something that's already kinda annoying about it.

I accidentally clicked off of it and it closed the entire window.... lame! Not sure if that's the best way to play a video when you're trying to capture someones attention/information.

A similar effect to the VideoLightbox is not difficult to
achieve with jquery scripting. I haven't done it in
a few months and where I've used it is in private sites,
but suffice to say it's just a matter of making a clickable
thumbnail of your image open a lightbox I-frame with
    the video player in it.

GreyBox Redux is the jquery script I've used, but others
and MooTools scripts are adaptable to the method as well.
The different lightbox scripts all look a little different
aesthetically, but functionally are pretty similar, so
it's largely a matter of picking one that is stable and
which has appearance and features you prefer.

Most "free" players carry licensing restrictions for
commercial use. One that doesn't is MPWPlayer -
which I haven't used because I own licenses to
some commercial players, but it is truly free to
    use.
