Saving What You Learn Here

Here is something that I have been doing for sometime now that helps me get the most value out of this forum. As you read the posts on here, obviously you will almost always see people giving out really valuable tips for free. Now, I always used to just read them and think,"Wow, that is a cool tip!" and then more on to the next one.

Instead of just reading it and then moving on, I copy and paste it into notepad and then archive it in a certain folder. Like "Link Building" or "CPA", now later if I wanted to make an ebook or share it with my list, I would have some valuable information or tips to use in there that really can help people.

My point is, if you are reading this stuff make sure you take the time to really understand it and always save it for later. You never know when you are going to need it.

Cool idea ... I often turn them into pdfs .. only thing is sometimes you don't always want the 256 replies that go with it.

LOL, no you don't. I usually just copy any relevant information. It is just that I think so many are guilty of reading something great and then forgetting about it.

Also, what really helps me remember the good tips on here is to actually think about how I how use it or see myself doing that thing they are describing. It is almost like it archives it in my brain too.

That's how I made my ebook. Accumulating tips and putting them together. I think that's how almost all ebooks are made, accumulating ideas

You can use evernote to store the advice or simply use "pdfmyurl" this will keep pdf copy of some good threads that you can use later to brainstorm.

Been doing that using PDF's since I started,
However I do need to start organizing them by subject.
    Thanks for reminding me Raygun!
