what payment processor and affiliate software do you use?

Hey there,

finally (after years of procrastinating on it) got my product ready and now need a payment processor that accepts credit-card and some way of tracking affiliates.

The key feature I'm after is this:

I'd like to have my affiliates send traffic to a sequence of blog-posts (each one with it's own affiliate link, all setting the same cookie, so when it's payday, the affiliates get paid no matter which blog-post their people went to)

also, if any of their people by any other of my products, they get paid too (i.e. I'd like to record where someone came from and then pay the affiliate for life)

finally, I'd like to be able to accept credit card payments, either for a shopping cart ("add product to cart", then option to review cart) OR as a single, one-off payment: "just press this button, you'll be taken to paypal (or whatever) and you pay, then you'll be taken to a download link")

I'd really apreciate any suggestions

thanks

Veit

I suggest you one of the below:

-e-junkie - easy to use and simple to set-up shopping cart service, great for ebooks, software etc.. Monthly fee, lowest plan is $5. I'm currently using it and I'm happy, although it doesn't give any protection against fraudulent buyers. I could go on with describing it, but it's better to just go tehir website and check it out I use it currently for my products.

-plimus - similiar to e-junkie, but more advanced and it takes a bit more to setup everything. Great if you don't want monthly fees (they charge a % from your sales) and they give chargeback protection. Disadvantage is that you'll have to wait to get your money from sales - they pay on net15 basis - you'll get cash from previous month sales after 15th day of the current month.

There's also paydotcom and clickbank, but these are rather marketplaces not shopping carts...

      hey, thanks.

yes, I did check out e-junkie, and the one thing I'm struggling with is the affiliate link to multiple blog-pages to set the same cookie.

would you just set up a bunch of 'dummy' products (one for each of the blog-pages), each with its own affiliate link?

      Cheers

To be honest...I'm not sure how to achieve that as I haven't got a chance to use their affiliate system yet You should ask on their forums or support how to do that. They have a well developed community.

I second that notion. I would definitely use Amember for this.

You can send traffic to any page you make a link for and it will set the same cookie. You can track and reward for both free visitors and sales. You can also plug into CMS systems to expand your operation.

      Salut
