Have you followed google's suggestions? If it still doesn't work try other google websites (like co.uk). If you are on a network it is possible that the problem is in another computer accessing the Internet - maybe using a bot. If it still doesn't work contact google.

Not sure what's going on. I couldn't get to the keywords tool last night. Page just wouldn't load, no error message.

Have you been using keyword software like SeoQuake?

It sends requests to Google to find the info you are looking for. If you do it for more than a few minutes at a time, Google will shut you down with that message, or something similar.

Assuming that's what's going on, you just have to wait it out. And if you can't wait, just use a proxy.

Elle hit the nail on the head. I used to work at an SEO firm and if we started running any automated software tools that sent requests to google for too long, they would block us for a day or more.

You either have to go via a proxy or shut down the software you are using.

Wish there was a better solution to your situation, but google is just protecting their bandwidth & CPU cycles.

Yeah it won't matter if you switch browsers, if you were using any type of automated quarry. The Google still knows who you are Neo.

I had a similar problem when I was researching my keywords once. If you're doing a very similar query a few times Google will assume you're using software for research and it will block that query.

Instead try varying your search a bit.

yes, from your computer was executed too much requests :-)
In Quality Unit we do also web data extraction software and we know, that google protects their search results :-) ... and this is error message, which you will see few hours.
I don't remember how long took to release ban, but as quick workaround you can try to use any free proxy server (often very sloooow) ... or try to use other search engine like bing

Thank you everyone, i love this forum there is always people here who are know the business in many subjects. I guess im at Mr Google endevor have just done a virus check and came back with nothing and cleared my browsers but still getting the same results. i guess i'll try it in a few hours and just use bing or yahoo for a temp fix.

Still its such a shame when a search engine tells its users how to surf the internet, When i started online in 1990 (long time ago) im sure there was a free speech movement lol!

    o well...back to work lol!

I know someone blocked from Google (lifetime ban) who still uses their keyword tool, so I don't think it's due to being banned. One can't be sure but I wouldn't guess so

Anytime you use a tool like Market Samurai or SEO Quake or anything that has to send a bunch of queries to Google in a short time period you need to use proxies or else you'll get temporarily banned pretty quickly.
