New to IM

Hi,
I'm new to Internet Marketing with not much sucess Yet. Looking for any starter advice, also planning to create my on website, any advice on best web hosting and info on website building.

    Hi Alamar,

    Welcome to the board, what I would suggest is that you become a War Room member immediately. There is so many free things in there it will blow you away! Well worth the $37. Also, I would look at getting a good coach or mentor that you can turn to for answers. Doing that will speed up your pace very quickly. Best of luck in your IM journey.

    Welcome Alamar, you'll get plenty of good adice here.

    I use a few hosting companies but HostGator has been really good for me and probably have everything you'd need to start out.

    As for building websites I mostly use Wordpress (blog platform) to create my sites.

    Here is my advice. Read and study all you can here on the forum. Also, get ready to work! You are going to have a serious learning curve and are going to have to work hard to get your cards in place.

    There will be days when you feel like giving up. All I can say is DON'T!! You will get it but not overnight. That is just a fact.

    If you don't know how to code a website. You can use hostgator to host your site. Go buy a domain, hosting. Set that up. Inside of hostgator control panel has a wysiwyg editor. That will help you set up a site. It has it's plus and minuses but is good to start with. Also, check out youtube. They have some pretty good tutorials and instructional videos for setting up sites.

    Don't worry about websites, links, products, or anything else until you find a niche and learn what people who visit that niche want. What do they buy, who are they, where do they come from?

    Understanding your Market is the key to being able to sell to that market. If you don't understand them you won't make money no matter how many things you "try".

    Welcome Alamar,

    I am very happy with Hostgator. They have been very patient and helpful. I have never experienced any down time.

    I also love WordPress.org for my blogs. There are plenty of videos on Youtube for setting your blog up. Just like anything there is a learning curve...but it is well worth it.

    I also just signed up for WarriorForum this week after browsing the site for a few days and I'm absolutely amazed at all the helpful information that is freely shared in here!

    Oh and I also signed up for the War Room because I figured if it's this good and free how much better is it going to be when I pay?
