What are some non-WP membership software options?

INTERNET MARKETING

I know a lot of people here both use and recommend Wordpress, but I know HTML like the back of my hand and don't feel like I'd be getting anything from WP.

What membership-type software options are there for people running static sites?

Here are several options to get you started. Your best bet is to decide exactly what you want your membership site to have, what options you need, and what options you think you may need in the future, then look and find the software that fits your own personal needs.

  One of the most important things to do is to evaluate the skills of your target members... especially if they are in a non-IM niche.
  
  I ended up having to do a complete rebuild this year because the script I was using (MMS - Membership Manager Supreme) was not something my members could use easily.
  
  I like MMS a lot, and I miss a number of its features, but I ended up having to move to a WP solution... and my members like it (and are able to access materials) much more easily!
  
  Painful Lesson Learned - If your members can't find their way around your site, all of your time and effort is wasted. ;-(

I use AffiliateMark for all mine. works great. easy to set up for paypal or Clickbank.
