How to create paypal button?

Hey warriors,

Instead of Cb I want to use paypal to process payments and I'm having trouble setting up a buy now button. How can i set it up so that it re directs to my download page?

  All you have to do is log into your paypal account.
  
  Choose make button and take the time to read what is asked of you at each screen.
  
  What's your product called?
  enter the details.
  
  What's the unique id number?
  enter the details.
  
  What's the product price?
  enter the details.
  
  etc and soforth! (Blame the King of Siam for that one! )
  
  As you slowly go through their Q and A section for making your buy button, things should gel for you.
  It's really not hard to do if you can follow their instructions.
  
  If you still have trouble - send me a pm and I'll make you a video of me making a buy button that you can hopefully follow.

Hi Vanquish,

I had this same question recently because I had been using a script that took care of the Paypal for me.

Paypal will give you the code to embed into the HTML in your site. That produces the button on your page. One of the option in Paypal is to send buyers to your download page. Let me go see if I can find that thread and put it here.

Do you mean redirect automatically?

You know, I can't even remember if I've seen that done with Paypal. Seems like I have but also sounds like something that you'd need your own script to do via Paypal's interface.

In short I do not think there's a way to automatically redirect someone using the standard Paypal merchant tools. You set the sale completion page etc to send them to your download after they click "continue".

Not much help but seems to me maybe a shopping cart or other script could do for you.
