elearning system?

I want to start a site to teach new photographers techniques to improve their photography and increase their sales.

I want to use an Elearning kind of model.

Basically, there will be like 10 courses they can take (each lasting 30 days or so). I want them to ONLY have access to the content they purchased and I want that content to be released on a time schedule I dictate. I would like all the content to be on one website URL.

What software/subscription website company should I look at??

    The most common (free) solution used in education is Moodle, which is open source. Details are on www.moodle.org. I've installed it and its relatively straightforward. You can either handle the enrolments to particular courses manually, or there are modifications to handle the payment side of things. You can also give limited time enrolments, such as the 30 days you're looking for.

    The help community at the above url is also great.

    Definitely play around with that one before going for a commercial alternative.

      I would recommend setting it up as a membership site where they get access to a new course each month.

    Moodle is good, I have used it also. It is a LMS (learning management system). It means you can create content in a SCORM compliant design program like Authorware and drop it straight into a logon system.
