Soo Frustrated!!!SEO Quake Users.....Quick Question Regarding Linking Info...Help Please

3 replies
When I look at the info page for my site using SEO Quake. It says that I don't have any google backlinks. It also isn't giving me any information regarding my yahoo backlinks.

Also what's the difference between the Yahoo L, the Yahoo LD, and the Yahoo LD2?

For yahoo LD2 it's showing that I have 8 links and those are all my ezine articles linking to my site. Why didn't those appear under my google backlinks? I checked to see if my articles have been indexed in google and they have, so I don't understand why they wouldn't count it as a backlink.

This is really frustrating because I've been spending majority of my time trying to build backlinks to my site.

What would you guys suggest?

    Yahoo Site Explorer doesn't show all the links pointing to your site for some reason. The number that comes up is usually less than the real number of links you have. There was a thread here on WF about this a while back that I remember reading and that's what a lot of people were saying.

    As far as your other questions...

    LD = the total amount of links pointing to your domain. This includes links to your sub-pages, blog posts, etc.

    L = links to that particular page that you're currently viewing.

    LD2 = I have no idea, my SEO Quake doesn't show an LD2, just L and LD : /

      Thanks for the info.... You might want to update to a newer version. If you do and you figure out what it is and how's it's different feel free to let me know.

      Are you sure? I thought it was total number of indexed links to the root of the site. I did not think it added all links to all pages together.
