Most hosting packages ask you whether you already have a domain name or you want to purchase a new one, just before creating their offer for you.

Ok, that sort of helps. To start out, since I am still new at this, I would like to use the name I already purchased and use it on a free webhost. I am not finding one. I know it is better to start a site that you pay for because, you get what you pay for. I simply can't pay for it, not now. If I could have a sort of "practice" site though, when I do have the money I can upgrade. Any thoughts? Denise and thank you for your reply

    I don't think I understand your question.

If you have your own domain name just use like hostgator or whatever and click "I already have an existing domain" option.

Then just enter your nameservers on your domain control panel and your set to go.

You could always get a hosting plan that you pay monthly & if you already have a domain name all you have to do is redirect your DNS (Domain Name Servers) to your hosts nameservers

        Hello Denise

If it would help you, I am prepared to set up a trial hosting account for you for say three to six months. I think you have been active on WF a little longer than me. You have posted more times than me. If you visit my blog you will see that I have offered to host websites for newbies to get them started.

I have a reseller account for setting up multiple websites and up till now have not sold hosting;this I can do later. If I give newbies a start, then when they have earned their first $ off the internet to prove they can make money, they can continue with hosting from me at a very competitive rate.

This could be a win-win situation for if you become profitable from your domain we can share successes and I can purse selling more hosting.

I am using a company called TopHostingUk I am satisfied after several bad experiences with hosting companies both sides of the pond that I have now found a reliable hosting company whereby I have more confidence in selling hosting when it comes to it.

Just contact me Denise if you want to take me up on the offer.

Ouch ouch and ouch. No, normally free websites don't give you that capability.

This may sounds harsh but if you don't have atleast $10 a month to start a business then it's really going to be tricky.. because the more money you put in on something.. the more return investment you will receive.

You might take a look at Free Web Hosting and Domain Name Registration Services by Doteasy.com. You can have free hosting and your own domain name. I don't know how good (or bad) they are, I'm not endorsing them, but it sounds like what you're looking for.

At Linksky.com you can pay monthly - very reliable host, I am using it since 2001.

If even that is too much for you (I think it's $5.95/mo) PM me and I could set you up on my reseller account (at another place) for free: you will have cPanel for your own domain.

      Hi Denise,

I'm also on hosting reseller account and can set you up for free hosting for the first 6 months until you get established. I don't normally sell hosting per se, I just have the reseller account mostly for my own sites and my WordPress/web design clients so I could set you up and you would have your own hosting cpanel with all the bells and whistles. Please pm me if you're interested.

Whatever you decide, good luck with your new site!

Go to the link below which is another offer by another Warrior Forum member. Free mentorship and website hosting for 12 months is on offer which will do more for you than just "try it out" if you would really like to get started on the internet selling products.
