Not sure exactly what you are doing here, but I have used photos of Amazon products from Amazon on my website in a rotating system. Haven't had any issues.

Yes you can, their affiliate system actually encourages you to do so and makes it quite easy. Most items have small medium and large photos available and some even have multiple views in each size.

Absolutely, they can be used and should be used. Combine the photo with some quality content such as a review and have the photo link back to the actual product for sale on Amazon.com will increase your overall conversions.

I found that adding the photos was the big difference in going from 1 or 2 sales a day to 5 to 7 sales a day in certain niches without increasing the actual traffic to the site. That's a failry substantial increase in the conversion percentage.

    Respectfully,

Just curious ... when using photos from Amazon, should the person hyperlink to the photo or download it?

Well, I would suggest that you download the photo and hyperlink it with your affiliate link for that product.

I always download the photos. How else can I edit them to suit my site?
After all, your goal is to make Amazon more money, and the more money you make Amazon, the more money they pay you.

However, something did slip by my attention with one site: although I have more than 6 sales per month they still only paid me 4% for this one product. So, beware to pick the right products.

Amazon encourages you to use them. I don't believe that Amazon owns those graphics. They are owned by the company that makes the product I would think. But they would want you to use them in order to sell that product, so I would say, go ahead and use them. Everyone wins.

So far, I have not had any problems using Amazon's photos since I'm promoting the products with a link back to their site. Usually, I will download the photos, put them on my blog and insert my affiliate links to those photos.

Thanks for the replies. If I were to image link those photos ... shouldn't be any problems right?

    Absolutely! Take advantage of it!

Let me stress an important point that was brought up by an earlier post....Be sure to setup your affiliate link in all of your pictures!

That is the #1 mistake that I see on Amazon affiliate sites. You click on the picture and it just takes you to that picture on a blank page.....You'd be surprsied how often people will click on your pcitures so setup your links for all of them!

I don't think using Amazon's image would be an issue at all.

The only time you CANNOT do this is if you're using amazon's images to promote a different affiliate program, then they might get upset. But selling amazon products with amazon pictures is no problem at all.
