How do squeeze pages store the emails they capture?

I know what a squeeze page is but how do squeeze pages store and give you the emails from subscribers. Are squeeze pages some sort of software programs in themselves? I just can't get my head around it.

The squeeze page all by itself doesn't capture emails. It's just what the webpage itself looks like - it's only aesthetics.

A squeeze page encases an autoresponder widget (such as that of Aweber or GetResponse) - it's these programs that capture email addresses into their system.

Absolutely. It is the autoresponder's system who captures the database caught from your subscribe box.

The squeeze page is just a webpage. You have to use an autoresponder such as Aweber in order to collect the emails and send messages to the subscribers. You can visit Aweber's site for more details on how it all works.
