Hello warriors,
I have been searching through the net on how to make a living online.
I am interested in article writing and web design.
I have designed a couple of website using wordpress but my web design business is not fetching me some good bucks.

Please people I need your help on how to make money online.

    If you're offering services, just keep going. You need to have more than "a couple of" sites up in your portfolio and you need to promote yourself. Put up ads where you can, participate in discussions, include the link to your service website in your signature...all the stuff you do to become known.

    It takes time to build a client base and get your income to the desired level - time and continual working at it.

    Hey kelvin. You could potentially make money with your article writing skills. I for one do not like to write articles. And we all know that article writing is key to getting good search engine rankings and traffic. Go through the "Warriors for Hire" section and see what other warriors are charging for their services. As it is always said "Content is King". If you can create great SEO content with your writing skills, you can make some good bank. Be sure to apply your own skills to your own business as well. Do a search on Kim Roach. She makes a really good full time living blogging. And guess why she does so well? She writes great content. It takes a while but don't give up. No matter what you do, next year will be here in a year. So start now. By this time next year you can have a boatload of content on your own site and make money along the way helping other business owners write content.

    Unfortunately, there is no easy answer or easy, primrosed path. It does take time and work. It's frustrating because the Internet is all about speed and the power of information. But too many folks are all striving to the same thing. It's easy to get your own little piece of real estate (domain); it's much harder to get the attention of your neighbors amid so much competition and noise. Try to create a game plan or even a business plan and then set objectives and deadlines for achieving your sales goals. Think out of the box. Try new ideas until something sticks. Be persistent. Don't be afraid to succeed or fail. Maybe your ambitions are too broad. Focus in on a niche and a market demand.

    Well, you have definitely to the right place to get all the help you need. I suggest you try using the search option available to you within this forum. You are probably going to find much more information on how to make money online than you want to.

    If article writing and web design is an area you strive in, you can offer your services here.

    It's definitely not as easy as it seems, but it is very possible to the point of no return. You can make a hell of a lot of money online, or you can waste a lot of money.

    What niches can you write in? All of them? If so, I would be willing to check out a couple of your sample articles.

      You're offering a service. You have that established, which is a good thing. One of the hardest things about making money online is knowing what to offer.

      Here are few suggestions:

      Treat it like a business.

      Find ways to spread the word about your services. Get involved on Twitter and connect with people who provide similar services. Use search.twitter.com to find people who are talking about your topic. Connect with them and help them find a solution to their needs. Create a Facebook fan page. Advertise for free on your local Craigslist, showing samples of your work. Find out who the major players are in your arena and connect with them. They may outsource jobs to you that they don't want or need for a simple percentage of the sale (and you can outsource jobs that are too big for you to them).

      In all, you just have to bust your ass to get the word out and prove yourself every day.
