Hi.

I know Google bans adsense accounts for reasons only known to them, does Amazon have a history of banning affliates too?

Cheers.

Yes they do. It's usually because someone neglects to follow their terms and conditions.

    Yes.

I've known many affiliates get banned by amazon for not following the TOS...

Always to my benefit... I only found out about their bans, because the rogue affiliates were in my niches at the time They lose, I win.

Amazon has recently banned affiliates in States like mine that have passed tax laws that impact them. This was a dramatic loss for me and I learned a big lesson. Expect more states to tax sales on Amazon (and affiliate income) and therefore Amazon will either eliminate more affiliates or change their policy.

Check with Amazon about your state and don't build any major revenue stream that can be lost because of a third party overnight.

Just reading through T&C, I take it for each site that Amazon will be promoted on, there is no need for a separate application?
