I haven't used Clickbank, mac...

I just use eJunkie, my own sales page, and I've tracked down affiliates on my own via eJunkie's affiliate program (it's different than Clickbanks)

I'm thinking maybe just register a domain, put up a site, queue up the blog posts to publish 1 a day for a couple of months, social bookmark each one as it does, use the articles to generate some backlinks and traffic as well, and then see what happens.

I've had this entire bundle sitting on my hard drive for months so I really should do something with it considering the client disappeared into the blue yonder and left me with a couple of weeks worth of work unpaid for. It's a case of nothing to lose I guess.

No chance, that was the final time I didn't insist on 50% payment in advance, no matter how "long term" we have worked together, and how much "trust" the client insists I should have in them

Your idea works for me. If it feels right start your project today because a bunch of valuable content is sitting idle on your hard drive. Good content is hard to come by.

I’d go with my own site and would set up my own affiliate program. Just seems like the better route to go as opposed to handing over any of your power to someone else.

Hmm, you can do both. Set up your site. Then use clickbank to sell your product. In that way, you can have many available affiliates just from the clickbanks

Flipping is of course another option.
