    My favorite is Adobe Premiere.

    I haven't used it in a while, but I used to be pretty big into video editing so I used to use it all the time.

    It has so many great features.

    I have used Vegas too and it is pretty good as well, but I still prefer Premiere.

      Adobe Premiere.

      I have tried other software like Pinnacle Studio but turn back to Premiere. I think I'm already familiar with the interface so changing to other feel awkward.

    My favorite for knocking out quick, simple video is iMovie.

    For even simpler videos, I love exporting Keynote presentations to Quicktime because it's drop-dead easy and I often "think" in Keynote anyway...

    For "real" editing and production, Final Cut Pro but at that point, I'm not the one primarily doing it anymore.

    Of course, I live in a predominantly Mac universe...

    I'm kinda wanting to check out (now) Adobe's Visual Communicator for the Windoze box.
