Starting up in copywriting

Hi All!

I am a new member here and am already impressed with the depth of information available. The members appear incredibly helpful and the advice available...priceless.

What I'm seeking here is to start up as a copywriter, quit my full-time job, then proceed to develop passive income.

Is there advice on which part of the forum I shold go to first? I know I should be posting WSOs to get a great start. But before I do that, is there anything I should be reading up on?

Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly. I will of course, be doing my own research and not just sitting for people to give me information. :-)

Thank you in advance!

Before I posted a WSO, I'd participate in the forum and build a reputation and maybe do some copywriting for people a bit to get some references and samples.

Just jumping right into posting a WSO ... nobody here knows you or knows your writing style and there are plenty of writers here to choose from.

    • Do two things:

      1. As mentioned above, go through the copywriting forum and
      2. Follow Jason Fladlien and do as he says!

Whoa, the replies and advice really come in quick.

Thanks grayambition, sbucciarel and George. I'm already browsing the forums to find out more.

Another thing though, how do I thank a person for the posts? Is there a shortcut for this?

    Once again, thanks!

I'm assuming we need to increase our post count before being permitted to "thank" others because I haven't been able to figure it out either.

Not until they've made a certain number of posts. It's either 5 or 10, if I remember right.
